It is well known compared to G2 and has a more balanced audience. Upgrading to a paid plan let us add widgets to our site to request reviews and send personalized, automated emails to happy customers which is great because those show as verified, unlike spam reviews from people who never used our product.

They permit numerous spam reviews, such as from people who may have purchased the wrong software or individuals blaming the provider when the issue actually lies elsewhere. Removing these kinds of reviews is also very difficult. We also often receive emails from the Trustpilot team accusing us of posting 'fake' reviews ourselves. This is strange and I'm unsure what's wrong with their system but it's definitely not a pleasant experience as a customer to be accused of misusing their platform. Overall it makes for a rather cold and unwelcoming experience.

I use It when I want to check how reliable a service is whether it's from a website or an app. Honestly most reviews seem true and well written so I can decide whether to trust something like an app offering discounted food. Leaving a review is simple and you can do it from your computer or phone. The interface is clear and if you leave a negative review, you often get feedback to help you understand what went wrong
