It's made it pretty simple to get our event details built out in the platform plus the interface is easy to navigate. It covers everything we need and handles the core tasks in a fairly simple and clean way.
Cons
There are still some odd quirks. For example, you cant generate a statement that shows only the outstanding balance. We also ran into duplicate information issues, where values and donors wouldn't appear correctly in packages, along with some strange design choices I couldn't control... like hiding a value in one section of the site but still having it visible somewhere else. The existing features could really use an overhaul to iron out those kinks.

This software performs its job very well. One feature I especially appreciate is the automatic payment processing, along with the option for users to choose whether they want to cover the credit card fee.
Cons
I found it really frustrating that the software defaults to grid view. It was difficult at first to get the page to open in a way that let users see all items, although I did manage to find a workaround. Three users also mentioned this as part of their experience. It would also help to have tabs when copying a previous event so items could be duplicated more quickly without needing to open each one individually.

Item entry page is one of my favorite parts. It looks simple but it still lets us include a lot of detail where needed. The site itself comes across as very professional and it doesn't take much effort to build or keep updated.
Cons
During our live auction, we ran into trouble with the reporting. It would have been much better to have a simple "next" button to move straight to the following item instead of going back through the entry steps every single time. We also entered the live winning bids after the auction but for some reason It didn't save them which left people waiting at checkout when they should have been able to finish right away.

Between the pricing and the feature set, the platform felt worth it for our team. It offered a lot of customization which made it fit our organization's needs really well. The bulk import tools saved us a significant amount of time and the in-depth webinar videos were very useful during setup. Also, the staff was incredibly helpful and quick to respond.
Cons
A few parts of the back-end UI could definitely be updated, more specifically the naming of certain tabs which would make things less confusing. It would also help if the left-side menu were grouped into fewer, broader categories since that would save time during setup. On the night of the event, the mobile version of the back end was extremely difficult to navigate. Having a dedicated admin mobile app or at least a better mobile admin site would make a big difference especially during live events. The biggest issue we dealt with that evening was not being able to quickly see which items had been paid for and by whom. There also wasn't a way to clearly mark items as claimed or picked up and that would have been very helpful.

“amazing auction platform
Pros
With less than two weeks to pull together a silent auction platform before our event, this platform turned out to be exactly what we needed. For this price, we had access to every feature we could think of. We looked at quite a few auction and fundraising tools and I really appreciated that It is built specifically around auctions. A lot of the other platforms try to do everything which makes auctions feel like a secondary feature but It's system felt complete and thoughtfully developed. Every time I wondered whether it could handle something, the feature was already there. The support team also deserves a lot of credit and their webinar was incredibly useful and whenever I emailed with questions someone got back to me within minutes. On the day of the event, I panicked when one function didn't seem to work and a team member replied right away and fixed it in under five minutes. The site performed well and even our older participants were able to register and place bids without much trouble. I also appreciated being able to register people myself and enter bids through the back end which made it possible to help participants who weren't very comfortable with technology.
Cons
The website design process is a bit off. The interface for building pages isn't as polished as the rest of the platform and having to update each text box individually or rely on the "Advance Styling" settings for things like font size and italics took more time than I expected. We still ended up with a website that looked really good but I had to spend a while watching tutorials and I do wish that part of the system were a little smarter

Ran our annual gala with it and its been much simpler with It. The platform is very user-friendly and their customer service team has been fantastic. Anytime a question comes up, support responds quickly, gives accurate answers and is always genuinely friendly. It lets us handle all of our event needs in one place, from the website and ticketing to auction procurement which has made a big difference for our team.
Cons
My one wish is that It should integrate with Salesforce NPSP. The only real drawback is having to do quite a bit of manual importing into Salesforce to track donor activity from the event.

I can now run our in-person and online auctions from one platform and it has been a HUGE plus. It really feels like a complete package with smartphone options that make interacting with participants simpler, automatic reminders and receipts and plenty of other useful tools beyond that. The pricing is very reasonable as well and there's even a free version with most of the features included which makes it easy to try out properly. It's also flexible enough that we're using it in another organization Im part of to handle registration for lifelong learning classes.
Cons
the biggest downside is that we only hold one auction each year so we don't get to use it more often. Aside from that, the only minor issue is that the web design tools can be a bit confusing to work with... at least for me.

The pricing, flexibility and overall functionality are excellent. I used another program before and it was much more rigid. But this platform gave me the freedom to set things up the way I needed and over time it has added enough features that I no longer have to rely on awkward work-arounds to get things done.
Cons
Designing the website is frustrating! There is not much explanation around what the different styling options actually do, for example,so I end up spending a lot of time experimenting just to get the look I want. Since I am not a web designer, it can feel like the system assumes anyone building the website already understands all of that.

The event website was fairly simple to build and it was simple to add all the content and details needed. There's also a wide range of functionality available for handling data, although I do wish it were more adaptive overall.
Cons
A spreadsheet-style layout for editing items would have been much more helpful. Having to click into each item, then open a separate page just to make changes, made the process feel complicated. I ended up with far too many pages open at once which quickly became confusing.

We can sell tickets and have them instantly connected to each guest's bidding paddle and guess what, its been greatt for us during auctions. The option to build a customized site and run the online auction through the platform has also been incredibly handy. Whenever we've hit something we couldn't sort out on our own, the support team has usually responded quickly and been genuinely helpful.
Cons
This platform offers a lot of functionality which is valuable but the platform isn't always very user-friendly. Quite a few parts feel less intuitive than they should. We've run into trouble with requiring a credit card for every guest, setting tickets up correctly so they aren't marked as "for sale" instead of the proper "ticket" type, creating the auction catalog webpage, adjusting the display order of tickets that are on sale, sending donation receipts to winning bidders and occasionally getting locked out of editing the site even when nobody else is signed in.

I love how much and how easily you can tailor this software. With a bit of know-how, you can make the website, item cards and emails look really polished. After running ten auctions with it, it has been consistently practical. The standout part for me, though, is the chat support team. They often reply even beyond their listed hours and I almost always come away with a fix for whatever problem Im dealing with.
Cons
Getting everything to look truly polished takes some extra effort. Having CSS knowledge definitely helps. I do appreciate being able to import past auctions instead of rebuilding everything from the beginning but when you've customized emails and other pieces, it can be tricky to track down every spot that needs to be updated for the next event.

At this price point, this software offers an impressive amount of functionality that you'd normally expect to pay two or three times more for. It includes pretty much everything needed to run a successful event while also keeping your financial records and patron information organized in one place.
Cons
It would be really helpful if the software integrated with email platforms like Constant Contact or MailChimp. It also comes with its share of bugs and odd quirks but with some research ahead of your event, there are workarounds for a lot of those issues.

It came with a wide range of tools that covered what we needed. I also appreciated that it connected with the payment processor our company already uses, Stripe which made things much more convenient. The system had a place for everything so it felt organized and complete.
Cons
Getting started was tougher than expected because the software was not very intuitive and the training materials were not helpful either. We had to get a lot of people up to speed very quickly which made the learning curve even more noticeable. Even our full-time staff struggled at first when it came to setting up ticket sales.

The platform felt very user friendly right from when i started. It still works well even when we are not using the online auction feature and it does a strongjob of tracking items, bidders and finances. The integration with our website also fits in really nicely.
Cons
One issue that seems to come up every year is getting bid numbers assigned correctly. Because of registration problems some bidders end up with two bid numbers. I'd also really appreciate a better way to assign the same bid number to couples who want to share one.

Report customization and Word-template printing could definitely be better. They're not very user-friendly and the options are a bit limited when it comes to creating reports that look polished especially with restricted fonts and a difficult preview process. Gift certificates and catalogues print nicely but when an item has two or more donors, only one donor logo is printed.

Setting up an auction is very simple and putting together the Home page and getting a URL to direct donors and bidders to the site is really convenient. It's also helpful that the program keeps an ongoing list of donors and bidders from every auction which makes it simple to share details about new auctions each year. One feature I especially appreciate is being able to set a visible goal for each auction so everyone visiting the page can see it.
