“Phenomenal support every time”

Pros

Whenever questions come up or I need help setting up a form or event, the customer service has been phenomenal. Every time I have reached out, I have been able to talk with someone knowledgeable who could actually help.

Cons

There are a few small limitations when creating forms. I'd also love to have the option to add more details that would improve tracking for our organization.

“perfect for nonprofit fundraising”

Pros

Getting our fundraising off the ground felt a lot less overwhelming because Zeffy gives nonprofits so many useful options. We're a brand new nonprofit supporting a small school district and when we started, we honestly were not very sure what we were doing. Since Zeffy is the only platform we've used, we don't really have anything to compare it to but we have no plans to switch because it already covers everything we need. One of the biggest perks is that it automatically sends tax receipts for us. We also love all the settings for running events and selling tickets like full tables, early bird pricing and tickets with different release dates. There are tons of ways to customize everything so it fits exactly what you need. Best of all, it doesn't cost us anything which means every dollar we raise can go directly to our mission.

Cons

Only a couple of minor things have come up, like wishing the donation form allowed more than four preset donation amounts. Aside from that There is really not much for us to complain about.

Pros

Running this as a nonprofit has been really manageable because the platform is simple to use and affordable. I also liked being able to customize the look and feel so it matched my audience better.

Cons

Nothing major comes to mind. If I had to mention anything, it would be the number of days it takes for funds to arrive but even that is not too bad.

Picking just one favorite thing about Zeffy is nearly impossible. From the zero fee donation platform that lets our nonprofit keep every dollar given, to the strong fundraising tools, it has completely changed the way we receive and manage donations. Even their features for thanking our generous supporters make the whole process feel seamless and genuinely rewarding.

Cons

There is always a chance for any service to improve but honestly I am struggling to point out any real downside with�this platform�right now. They've been an incredibly valuable partner to River Region Animal Rescue and their exceptional customer support makes me confident that if anything ever comes up, it will be handled quickly and effectively.

“Professional look and free”

Pros

Using it has not been a problem, with polished finishes, a professional appearance and the added bonus of being free. The page customization especially the color options, helped me build a sales site that really matched the image of our event.

Cons

I would still like it to be easier to integrate with Instagram for donations and events since that would make promotion and advertising much more convenient.

“The best for nonprofits”

Pros

As a nonprofit having no platform fees is a huge advantage. Donors can choose the fee amount they want to contribute which is such a thoughtful feature and the automatic tax deduction letter is something I really like.

Cons

Nothing to complain about so far. It's been an excellent platform for nonprofits and I have not run into anything I dislike yet.

“helpful support whenever needed”

Pros

The customer service has been a real plus. You can tell they genuinely try to respond to our needs and the staff is always kind and pleasant to deal with. The fact that the service is free is also a big advantage. We still haven't explored everything Zeffy offers, so there are probably more useful features to discover.

Cons

We are a nonprofit and some people who register for activities choose to pay in cash or by Interac. In those cases we have to enter the payments manually and the tool for doing that doesn't feel fully developed yet. For example if we try to add an entry after the activity end date, the system won't accept it.�The platform�did suggest a workaround but it's not really an ideal solution for us.

Pros

Zeffy software is fairly simple to use and the customer service team has been very quick to respond whenever needed. Overall, it's been a really strong program to work with.

Cons

It seems to be built more for general fundraising and not as much for managing a membership database or supporting fundraising within a membership based organization.

Pros

As a nonprofit it has been a perfect fit for us. Setting up our auction was fairly simple and the participant communication feature was incredibly helpful throughout the process. I also really liked the tax receipt option.

Cons

One thing I wish it offered is the ability to edit pictures directly on the site. The required square image format was a little awkward and since we had to get our auction up quickly, I didn't have time to figure out a workaround.

Pros

Unlike every other platform that claims to be free but still takes a cut somewhere, Zeffy actually doesn't charge us any fees. That alone makes it amazing and honestly it has been wonderful to use.

Cons

Honestly I really don't have any complaints. If I had to point out something, it would be that There is no option to receive funds instantly. Still getting them the next day is very good, so it doesn't really bother me.

“Free yet relevants”

Pros

One thing I really like about Zeffy is that it's free and it's clearly built for the right target audience. Also the forms are relevant and easy to use, customer support is helpful and the legal documentation is fairly complete as well.

Cons

A few features feel less well suited for desktop use although the support team said they would work on fixes. It's also not always obvious that donors can opt out of the default contribution to�the platform.

“User friendly and no fees”

Pros

Zeffy was quite user friendly and the fact that there are no fees is a huge plus. The whole process is streamlined and whenever I had questions, the team was quick to respond and very helpful. It worked well enough that I am already planning to explore it further for our ongoing fundraising efforts.

Cons

The only challenge I ran into was setting up the email portion but that was mostly because I was short on time while trying to launch our campaign.

Running fundraisers with Zeffy has been such a relief. It's quick to set up, stays focused instead of trying to do everything at once and has made collecting donations really easy for our team. Another big plus is not having to take on the donation processing costs ourselves.

One area that's been difficult for us is the tax receipt functionality.

It has been a really good fit for my small NGO because it's simple to use and being able to keep the full donation amount makes a big difference for us.

The thing that's been challenging is setting up bank deposits with a credit union instead of a traditional bank.

Being a nonprofit having a platform that's free for us is a huge benefit. Also it lets us manage our database, process donations and send emails all in one place which makes things much more convenient.

I'd still love to see more built in database features especially for merging households, running more detailed reports and automatically tagging people based on how they were added.

“Way too simple to setup”

Pros

Zeffy is completely free which makes it the best. You do need to plan your finances around the weekly deposit schedule but the platform itself is simple to set up no matter what you're selling or collecting donations for.

Cons

The only downside I noticed is that deposits are made only on Mondays. That said as long as you plan ahead, it's manageable.

Pros

Setting up an auction was very easy because the interface is so user friendly. And of course having the product available for free is a huge advantage too.

Cons

At the beginning I was a bit unsure why the full payout didn't arrive right away. Later on I realized that different payment methods take different amounts of time to clear and reach our account. It's not a major issue but that wasn't completely obvious at first.

“Right fees for fundraising”

Pros

The thing that really helps is giving supporters the choice to cover the processing fee or skip it which makes fundraising simpler and works really well as a smart strategy for nonprofits.

Cons

I'd really like to see an app for campaign management similar to Cheddar Up.�Yes this platform�is user-friendly but I am still not sure it's the best fit for event management.

Pros

My favorite part about it is that setting up new fundraising events is really easy and the platform is extremely simple to use.

Cons

The new navigation layout takes a bit of time to adjust to. So I preferred the old version when it was more simple and had fewer screens.
