“Review for Alloy Navigator”
Pros
This program helps me follow the work seriously and continuously. It includes all the sections I need, like one to save the assets in the department and renewal, among many other things.
Cons
I find this program good, and there is nothing I don't like about it.

“All in One Ticketing Software”
Pros
I appreciate the amount of information I can add to a ticket. I like that I can log the work and paste HTML email threads into a ticket. Also, managing all of the computers in the ticketing software is a nice feature.
Cons
The software looked a bit outdated before we upgraded to Version: 8.3.1 Build: 7647.

“Alloy Navigator 8”
Pros
I like the ability to get a good picture of the support organization.
Cons
I think a better solution to Active Directory to automate company/locations would be great. Possibly having a manual way to assign the parent company to the locations and have that flow to users would be beneficial.

“Alloy Navigator”
Pros
It was super easy for me to get started and set up the general functionality. I have been able to quit using spreadsheets to track information and import most of my spreadsheets directly into Alloy. I now track my contract renewals for both hardware and software, my software licensing, and allocations. The library is very useful for me to track equipment checked out to our end users or contracted trainers. I also have a scheduled inventory that continues to update with the latest information for all computers in our domain.
Cons
I find the admin section a bit cumbersome to maneuver, but I appreciate that it has a lot of options available.

“Alloy is our "Main Brain"”
Pros
This solution is very, very, very powerful, extremely customizable and capable of automated inventory. Seriously, I can do whatever I want with it.
Cons
The learning curve is difficult for me as a novice, and I also notice there are no iOS apps.

“Has good potential”
Pros
What I liked most about this software is its integration with Active Directory, which allows me to keep the inventory, locations, and customer tabs updated. The more automation, the better.
Cons
To me, the GUI feels outdated and could be simplified, but this is from my experience with an older version of Alloy Navigator. I also notice there is not enough customization for AD sync that I can manipulate or adjust.

“Excellent inventory and ticketing features”
Pros
I like that we are all on board with Alloy for ticketing and inventory. Solution adoption can be a struggle for some teams, but we collaborate, share ideas, and implement our best practices for ticketing and inventory. We are also building on this with the knowledge feature.
Cons
I do not see any cons. I believe we need to dedicate more time toward any automation we can build into the product.

“Great product at a great price!”
Pros
Alloy Navigator is the complete solution for managing IT services and providing controls for changes in the technology environment. It was easy for me to install, and the self-service portal was easy to navigate. The best part is the cost. I looked at several other products, considering both cost and functionality, and found that Alloy provided more for less!
Cons
I find the admin settings confusing, but they are organized well enough for me to navigate.

“Easy to use on-premise solution.”
Pros
It allows me to pull multiple islands of information (support ticketing, asset management, loaner tracking, etc.) under a single umbrella.
Cons
While Alloy tracks a wide range of information for me, sometimes getting into the details can be cumbersome. Network inventory for SNMP devices and software allocation leave something to be desired.

“Alloy Navigator Experience”
Pros
What I like most about Alloy Navigator is the Library tree. I implemented this tool with our company laptops, giving me the ability to track and list who we "loan" the laptops to. I can also track when we push software updates on our machines. The knowledge base tree is another pro in my opinion. Whenever I am stuck with an issue, I do a quick search in the knowledge base to see if any previous employees have encountered the same problem before. This really helps me cut down on troubleshooting time and points me in the right direction to solve the problem.
Cons
The only con I have with Alloy Navigator is the ticketing system. I feel users who have issues should be able to create a ticket themselves.

“Multi functional software”
Pros
I like that I can have my assets, documentation, ticketing system, etc., all in one place.
Cons
When creating basic groups, titles, etc., for assets, I find it takes a bit more digging to edit. I wish there was an easier platform for editing.

“Great Support and Inventory Management Software”
Pros
My favorite part about the Alloy software is the scripting and automation it provides. I can have it create tickets or work orders automatically when certain conditions are met, such as a ticket to order more computers when stock is running low.
Cons
I find the scripting hard to understand since I do not come from a SQL background. However, Alloy's support team is excellent and has helped me with every issue I have encountered.

“Fully featured and still developing”
Pros
The flexibility is endless, this product can do anything I design. It can output to batch files, automate tasks, and digitize forms. The only limitation is my imagination. I treat this as a very advanced GUI for SQL.
Cons
I need to get a full understanding of the administration side to use this product to its full potential.

“Alloy doesn't cost a lot and he's making a pretty good job”
Pros
Navigator is a good management tool for IT assets. I can get inventory, service desk, and project management inside an ITIL framework with this simple and efficient software. It is easy to implement, and I can have a CMDB for a low cost.
Cons
I must register on the Alloy Navigator website if I want to get a price or a trial of the software.

“My Honest Review of Alloy Navigator”
Pros
The best thing about Alloy Navigator is the customization. If there is something I want this software to do, it can probably do it.
Cons
What I care for least about Alloy Navigator is the UI and UX. There are so many menus that I find buried within multiple layers of menus.

“A flexible product for any IT Department”
Pros
The straightforward approach of an all-encompassing program is why I chose this product 13 years ago. I can accomplish our daily ticketing system, maintain a company equipment reservation program, and inventory all company assets in one out-of-the-box program. On top of that, the support team is always available to help and responds promptly to any questions or requests.
Cons
The programming logic on the back end can be confusing for me at times. There are many logic statements, actions, etc., that are buried in specific places and are not always easy to find.
