“Impressed by pricing and support”
Pros
For starters, I'm really impressed by their pricing structure, it's extremely affordable and, in my view, gives solid value for what you get and whenever we've needed assistance the customer support team has been responsive and helpful.
Cons
I ran into noticeable lag when opening Asana projects that contained a lot of data which slowed my workflow considerably though the support team did step in and resolve the problem for me.

“Dependable and smooth integrations”
Pros
I've found Asana to be a dependable platform that helps me plan organize and carry out projects and individual tasks with greater clarity and because it connects smoothly to a wide range of third-party apps, I can organize my workflow instead of juggling multiple tools which in turn makes keeping track of project progress much easier.
Cons
For me Asana covers every project-management requirement I have so comprehensively that I don't really have any specific complaints or shortcomings to point out.

“Base plan includes many features”
Pros
I've noticed that the base plan already includes templates, a timeline view and useful little automations that a lot of competing tools don't bother to include which I appreciate.
Cons
The team collaboration itself runs smoothly In my experience yet the dashboard can become sluggish during peak times and since custom fields are locked behind the premium tier it makes deciding whether to upgrade a bit unclear.

“Clean UI with generous free tier”
Pros
What really stands out to me is the clean user interface, the surprisingly generous set of tools available in the free tier and the overall layout that makes everything feel cohesive and simple.
Cons
While I had to climb a bit of a learning curve because there are so many features to explore, I personally think the payoff is worth the initial effort.

Pros
This really helps me keep organized especially since I'm not very strong in that area so it's been a big help.
Cons
Personally I feel the layout could be more visually appealing because as it stands the design comes across as a bit dull to me.

“Highly flexible collaboration modes”
Pros
For me Asana's biggest strength is its flexibility since it supports multiple collaboration modes within a single project management platform, whether I only need to stay informed about a single task or manage extensive project timelines with interdependencies, attachments and shared collaboration fields. Setting it up was extremely simple and I find it functions as a self-teaching tool that employees pick up quickly.
Cons
I wish there were more ready-to-use templates available out of the box because currently the selection feels quite limited for users, additionally, I notice the product doesn't fully leverage automated recommendations to advise which topics could be skipped or which tasks are unnecessary so we often spend extra time determining task relevance.

“Simple and clean UI”
Pros
What I really appreciate is how simple Asana is to use, its clean user interface makes it simple for me to move around and discover the many useful features it offers which speeds up my workflow considerably.
Cons
Overall I haven't come across major problems since we began using Asana, it runs smoothly for us and although we did face a hiccup integrating it with a few external tools, that problem was resolved.

“Centralizes daily routine”
Pros
I can effectively keep my daily routine organized because all of the topics I track are centralized in one place which really organizes how I plan and follow tasks.
Cons
Personally it would be great if I had more flexibility to create boards and to move columns like the person responsible and the deadline since at the moment I can't reposition those columns as needed which limits my workflow.

“Simplifies complex projects”
Pros
I've found it really useful because it simplifies managing tasks and projects even when they get quite complex and the combination of task tracking and deadline reminders keeps me organized and on schedule so that every task is completed within the expected timeframe.
Cons
As a Kanban user, my initial experience felt awkward because there wasn't a built-in Kanban option at first, after a few months I adapted my workflow and was able to reorganize how I work so I could operate effectively without relying on a Kanban board.

“Approachable with great customization”
Pros
I've found Asana very approachable, with a shallow learning curve that still lets me tap into advanced productivity features once I know the ropes so I don't feel slowed down by complicated navigation. Instead of navigating through glitchy, slow-loading nested menus, I can tailor cards to be as simple or as elaborate as each project requires which really helps keep work organized. Building a Kanban board here is simple and simple and when it's set up well I can immediately see the challenges and progress my team has which is invaluable for day-to-day coordination. I also appreciate being able to create and attach custom tags to tasks irrespective of their project since that makes it simple to pull together a wide slice of related activity, for example, tracking every user-permission change which comes in handy when I need to show change management during audits like a SOC II Type II review.
Cons
It bothers me that a single card can't be assigned to more than one person without me needing to duplicate it because that creates extra work and clutters projects when tasks are truly shared. Also although I can add custom fields to capture details, I wish there were a built-in 'time spent' field on tasks, even if it were initially hidden like the tags option since a native time-tracking field would make logging and reporting much simpler for the whole team.

“Clear task management”
Pros
Personally I find its task management extremely clear and simple and because of that I'm able to decompose a large project into numerous, trackable tasks and delegate them to different people while setting specific timelines and deadlines.
Cons
I do appreciate that the free tier is quite generous for smaller groups, I've been able to use it with teams up to about fifteen people but when I need more sophisticated tools like Timeline views, deeper reporting or automation rules, I have to upgrade to a paid plan.

“lacked proper training methods”
Pros
What I liked most was how simple the platform is particularly when it came to managing a range of tasks and organizing them into distinct areas which helped me keep everything more structured and easy to find.
Cons
Despite the clean and simple interface, I didn't end up using it as much as I'd hoped because I lacked proper training and consequently I found myself struggling to become fully comfortable with its features.

“Flexible but could be better”
Pros
It has been a game changer for project management for me. Since it's cloud-based, I can access it from anywhere and don't need to install or set anything up on my computer. Features like easy project tracking, task tracking, deadline notifications and automatic task status updates make managing work so much simpler.
Cons
I noticed some tools are missing from Asana. For example, there's no option for Kanban boards, so I had to stick with the Gantt project manager. I really hope they include Kanban in the future since I'm more familiar with that style. Other than that, I haven't had any other issues so far.

“Excellent for planning work”
Pros
It's very helpful to track team tasks and processes. It keeps the people assigned to tasks organized and I can easily keep an eye on project timelines and see how everything is progressing.
Cons

“Works well for small tasks”
Pros
We use it to plan program tasks, event agendas and training days in a really simple format. I love how visual it is with boards and timelines and it's easy to see what's on track and what needs extra support.
Cons
As projects get bigger and have more sub-tasks, the dashboard can feel overwhelming. It also takes a little training for new team members who aren't used to task management apps, so onboarding can be tricky.

“Game changer cloud-based service”
Pros
This has been a game changer for managing projects and because it's a cloud-based service I can access it from anywhere without needing to install or set anything up on my computer, that convenience alone has saved me time. Also, I find the set of features very helpful for simplifying project oversight, everything from tracking projects and individual tasks to deadline alerts and automatic updates to task statuses makes keeping work organized much easier.
Cons
There are a few tools I find missing in Asana, notably, it doesn't offer a native Kanban board option so I've had to make do with the Gantt-style project manager despite being much more comfortable with Kanban workflows. I'm really hoping they'll add a Kanban view in the future because that's what I'm used to and it would fit my process better but otherwise I haven't run into any other significant problems so far.

“Incredibly useful for monitoring”
Pros
From my experience, it's incredibly useful for monitoring team tasks and workflows because it helps the people assigned to work stay organized and lets supervisors effortlessly keep an eye on project and task timelines.
Cons
That said, I've found that many essential features require a paid plan which means important metrics and the ability to track employees are much more limited when you're stuck on the free tier.

“Organizes tasks with visual elements”
Pros
We rely on Asana to organize our program tasks, schedule event agendas and map out training days using a simple layout because of the visual elements like boards and timelines, it's simple to identify which items are progressing well and which ones require additional attention.
Cons
I find that once projects expand and pile up sub-tasks, the dashboard can feel rather cluttered and overwhelming and new teammates who aren't used to task-management tools will need some hands-on training to get up to speed.
