“essential for daily workflow”
Pros
Right from the start Asana has felt like one of those tools that just gets everything right. It's simple to use but still very capable and even the hotkeys are excellent. At this point it's become an essential part of my everyday routine.
Cons
Pricing is the one downside as there's no option to purchase just a single user.

“amazing for social media workflow”
Pros
It's the best software I have used for managing my social media work, from daily tasks and time tracking to project tracking and overall task management.
Cons
The only downside is that it takes a while to get comfortable with it and I'd really appreciate more learning materials to help speed that up.

“Task organization in one place”
Pros
Keeping tasks organized is not a problem anymore and I really like having all the email threads and comments gathered in one place.
Cons
Using it can feel a bit overwhelming although that may come down to how our company has it set up. A lot of items also never get checked off because we use it more as a historical record.

“covers everything for us”
Pros
Asana covers just about everything you'd want for project management. It handles tasks, scope, time tracking, planning and pretty much all the core pieces in one place. A few deeper MPP-style features are missing but overall it still does the job well and serves its purpose.
Cons
With so many features packed in some screens can feel a little crowded and cluttered at first. That said, if you know your way around project management, it becomes easier to adapt to over time.

“Favorite tool for tasks”
Pros
It has been my go-to software for managing my own tasks. It works really well for staying organized on an individual level and keeping track of what I need to get done.
Cons
That said, it's not as strong when it comes to broader project management or getting a clear high-level view of everything happening across a team or project.

“Better project visibility”
Pros
This helped me get more done and cut down the time I usually spend checking where everyone is on shared projects we're collaborating on.
Cons
At first the full set of features felt a bit bulky and unnecessary to me. But after getting more familiar with the platform, I have started to see them differently.

“Useful task tracking hub”
Pros
Managing tasks with Asana has been really helpful for setting priorities, tracking progress and keeping an eye on team workload. It also makes collaboration much simpler both within my team and across other teams. Having different communication channels in one place is convenient and the integrations, such as Outlook, are genuinely useful.
Cons
Collaboration would be stronger if it included the option to comment or work together directly in the same document. The reporting features could also use more detail and the interface could feel a bit more user friendly especially when moving between projects.

“Team visibility that works”
Pros
Using it has been very easy and I really like that the entire team can always see what's going on and stay on the same page.
Cons
There are still a few glitches here and there and the sync with my personal calendar isn't always completely accurate.

“Fantastic boards for project tracking”
Pros
Keeping several projects organized in Asana is really convenient and I can look at everything from different perspectives depending on what I need. My favorite feature is the board view since it lets me drag tasks from one column to the next as work moves forward.
Cons
It really works best when the whole team is actively using it so collaboration can fall apart a bit if some people are not on board. I also think a beginner-friendly tutorial video series would be helpful for getting new users comfortable with the software.

“Versatile project tracking for teams”
Pros
It is a lot like Slack which made it familiar from the start. I also like that it has apps for different devices and that it also works through the web interface. The features for professional teams are very good and it's a really good fit for small, mid-sized or large companies that want to keep close, detailed control over their projects.
Cons
One thing that didn't work well for me was that, when I tried to use it, it wasn't available in my language. That made collaboration with my team much more complicated.

“Reliable for office teams”
Pros
In an office setting it is a fantastic tool for managing projects and coordinating workflows across larger teams. It works exactly as it should and gets the job done really well.
Cons
It's not a very good fit for remote workers who rely on mobile devices to handle daily tasks and projects. It also completely lacks calendar integration which is a noticeable downside.

“Powerful for marketing teams”
Pros
Navigating the interface seems easy and the platform integrates with plenty of third party tools. Also it comes with a wide range of features that are genuinely useful for marketing teams.
Cons
At times entering data into the system takes quite a while which can make it serve a different purpose than what it was originally meant for. I wouldn't really recommend this type of suite for small teams that need to stay highly productive because even though it helps managers make better decisions and monitor task progress, it also takes time away from employees who need to focus on getting the actual work done.

“Reliable fit for hybrid teams”
Pros
Keeping a hybrid team aligned has been much easier with this tool. We leaned on it heavily during COVID and even after returning to the office, we've continued using parts of it because it still works well. If your team includes remote employees, it's a really valuable platform to have.
Cons
Getting everything set up took more effort than expected. It's not that the platform makes it difficult but without a dedicated project manager, you end up spending quite a bit of time figuring out the right structure and workflows for your team.

Pros
Being able to quickly add details to any task and then mark it complete makes Asana really practical to use. It also keeps us updated with task notifications and the interface is genuinely excellent.
