Using it day to day is not a hassle and it gives a clear view of how the project is progressing.

Having to open each subtask one by one to see the details is a bit inconvenient.

It works really well for managing tasks especially if you're the kind of person who stays extremely on top of every detail and keeps close track of everything.

At the same time there's so much going on that it's hard to push myself to use it regularly with all the features and functionality packed into it.

Pros

Having this much functionality in the free version is a big plus. I run a small business so I don't really need most of the paid features right now but I'd have no problem upgrading when the time comes. It keeps all of my projects organized and helps me stay on top of everything I have going at once. Since there's also a mobile app, I can check progress and update or adjust tasks from anywhere.

Cons

I honestly don't feel like anything is missing or needs improvement. Since I am using it as a solo user, I don't make use of most of the team features so I cannot really speak to how those perform.

“Daily workflow powerhouse”

Pros

It's part of our everyday workflow and has been working really well for us. The Zendesk integration fits in nicely and it's helpful that you can assign either an entire team or specific individuals to a project. Keeping up with each assignee's progress day by day is also easy and making edits or updates when things change is quick to do. When a project is finished, you can close it out without losing access to the notes which has been really useful. there are so many positives with this platform.

Cons

We really haven't run into any downsides with it. It's become such an essential part of our software company's day to day operations.

“Excellent value for teamwork”

Pros

Compared to what we pay, the value we get is way beyond expectations. Task management and delegation are at the core of how we work. Updating task details is no longer a problem which makes a big difference daily. Plus team collaboration is essential for us and this tool makes it easy. Project management is fantastic too as the bird's eye view lets everyone see what's done, what's in progress and what still needs attention from start to finish.

Cons

We still haven't really figured out how to use the priority system effectively.

It keeps everything related to a project together in its own online workspace so all the information lives in one place.

Cons

I still need stronger document creation and tracking, plus clearer visibility into status at both the task and project level, including priorities, changes, individual ownership, responsibilities and dependencies. That said some of this may come down to how the project was configured rather than the platform itself.

I had a really great user experience. As overall the tool seems clear and easy to use.

I haven't felt that anything is missing as it has everything needed for project management in one place.

Managing user stories works really well and the task hierarchy keeps everything organized. The one-page status tracking is especially useful for getting a quick overview and the timeline and calendar views make planning and monitoring work much more effective.

Roadmap management still needs improvement and I'd also like better integration with Confluence and configuration management tools.

Planning and tracking projects with other team members is easy and it works really well for collaboration.

There's nothing specific that causes problems for the way I use it although it doesn't offer quite as many features as some other project and task management tools.

Asana has been the best tool for me when it comes to managing projects and planning tasks. Creating tasks feels very simple and keeping track of each task's status is just as manageable. The sub-task feature is a big advantage too since it lets me break larger tasks into smaller parts based on how complex they are. Overall my experience with it has been very positive.

Cons

One thing I have noticed is that it includes a lot of features even when you just want to create a basic task. While it is user friendly, I still feel it takes a bit of experience and practice to really use it well.

Keeping an eye on KPIs and tracking progress is where Asana really helps. It gives me a clear view of where things are headed and helps me understand the direction for growth.

Cons

The downside is that it can feel pretty complex and getting it deployed and used properly takes time and effort.
