“feature-rich but setup takes effort”
Pros
I've been using Asana for a long time and in my experience it's a feature-rich platform that keeps team collaboration and project communication centralized, I can create task lists, assign items to various teammates, set deadlines and then effortlessly monitor progress and change statuses as work advances. Many of the workflow steps are automated and because it's highly configurable I've been able to tailor it to our exact requirements quite effectively.
Cons
At times, I discover that setting up customized workflows demands a considerable investment of time, significant effort and a solid level of setup expertise before everything runs smoothly.

“flexible interface”
Pros
I really value how flexible it is and how simple the interface feels because that combination makes organizing and keeping track of tasks both simple and effective even when projects get messy.
Cons
For my part, I find the missing, true resource-management capabilities to be a real limitation since it forces me to rely on workarounds or other tools when I need to allocate people, time or workload precisely.

Cons
Honestly I don't have many complaints overall but I do feel the interface could be refined and made more user-friendly.

“Flexible workflows across teams”
Pros
Asana gives us a lot of flexibility so we can tailor the setup to match how our teams and departments actually work, both individually and together.
Cons
A downside is that some of the features that would be the most helpful only come with the more expensive plans so it takes a bigger investment to access them.

“user friendly planning that delivers”
Pros
Navigating the platform is very easy, whether I am working through tasks, checking calendars or switching between views by project, team or individual person. It's set up in a way that makes everything simple to follow and manage.
Cons
The price does feel a little high for us but compared with other team communication tools we've tested, this one has been the most effective for what we need so the extra cost still feels justified.

“stand out in many ways”
Pros
One thing that makes it stand out for me compared with other collaboration tools is how visually clean and user friendly it is. The task management setup uses kanban-style cards which makes organizing work in a very clear and practical way. It also integrates really well with my files and other apps so collaboration seems hassle free. I can attach all kinds of files to tasks, from images to audio and the best part is that everything stays archived inside Asana. File sharing is also very helpful for creating, storing and sharing content through Dropbox, Google Drive and Box.
Cons
I don't have any complaints personally since my experience with it has been excellent.

“premium trial blocked our board”
Pros
You can create subtasks and assign them to specific people which is useful for tracking smaller parts of a job.
Cons
After the free trial of the premium version ended, our board was locked and we could no longer see the tasks we already had there.

“Organized tasks and clear progress”
Pros
Keeping everything organized is where Asana really helps and it makes project management feel much more manageable and a lot less chaotic. It does a nice job of helping you stay on top of tasks, set priorities and follow progress in a clear, visual way.
Cons
One downside is the learning curve especially when you start digging into the more advanced features. Basic task management is simple enough but it still takes time to get comfortable with all the different options for organizing, customizing and automating workflows, particularly if you're new to it.

“simple layout, clear status”
Pros
It is very user friendly both visually and functionally. The layout makes it simple to scan project status and pick up other important details at a glance which helps a lot when managing work quickly.
Cons
I do not have any real complaints. If anything, it could offer a few more settings for deeper personalization but even with that, this is still my favorite project management platform.

Pros
Ticket tracking has been really useful and the boards give much better visibility into everything that's going on.

“helpful activity logs and integrations”
Pros
One thing that's been really useful is the activity history on tasks since it shows exactly who changed what and when. The third-party integrations are also a big plus because they make it possible to build more customized automations between different apps.
Cons
The only feature I still miss is a virtual whiteboard for brainstorming and mapping out ideas visually.

“Project planning and teamwork win”
Pros
Asana works really well for planning projects and keeping collaboration organized. The messaging is helpful, the task creation flow works nicely and the notifications make it clear when a new task is ready for me to pick up.
Cons
It could probably be a bit easier especially with all the task and subtask options. Things can get confusing when clients add multiple tasks and I have to move them around and place them into a quality control section.

“Task tracking keeps us aligned”
Pros
This one has become a key part of how our creative team manages tasks and calendars. It plays a huge role in keeping our projects organized and honestly some team members would be totally lost without it.
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve on the admin side although it's nothing unmanageable. With so many features available, it took some time to figure out the most efficient way to use the platform.

“Flexible multi project task views”
Pros
One thing I really like is that a task can sit in more than one project which gives you different orthogonal views of the same work and makes organizing data much more flexible.
Cons
At the same time it's also pretty easy for a task to end up not being assigned to any project at all.
