“pretty limited!”

Pros

Asana works well as a team communication and collaboration platform especially when you need to keep complicated projects involving a lot of people organized. Its visual layout makes information clear, logical and simple to follow.

Cons

I noticed that it is missing quite a few features and because of that it feels fairly similar to Microsoft's alternative in this area.

“Excellent multi project oversight”

Pros

At a previous job a teammate suggested Asana since we were working in project management and it ended up being really useful. After using it for a while, it gave us excellent visibility across multiple projects and made overall oversight much more manageable.

Cons

Like most tools it does take a bit of time to learn at the beginning. I wouldn't really call that a flaw with the tool itself but getting everything set up and becoming familiar with it may require some extra time.

Asana is very user friendly and the free version is more than enough for most people who only need the basic features.

I honestly cannot think of anything I disliked while I was using it.

Everything I need is available in one place and the feature set makes it much simpler to keep track of projects and tasks with the team. It cuts down a lot of manual effort and saves a good amount of time when managing multiple projects at once.

At this point I haven't run into any issues that get in the way of the workflow.

At times it's still hard to locate what I need and figuring out how to use certain features to match my workflow can take some effort.

Juggling several projects across different teams and deadlines feels much more manageable with Asana. It helps me stay organized, keeps all my tasks visible in one place and makes it much easier to stay on schedule. The mobile app has a clean layout so updating projects while I am out and about is really convenient. I have also enjoyed the Google Drive integration since it makes sharing files quick and hassle-free.

Cons

There was definitely a bit of a learning curve at first when I was trying to understand how to use everything effectively. The interface can also feel somewhat cluttered which occasionally makes it unclear whether I am viewing my own task list or something tied to a specific project.

What I have liked most is being able to clearly see the exact date and time when tasks were created, along with each comment posted by team members.

Overall it has been an excellent organizational tool for our company. It helps us manage projects well and assign tasks to the right people without hassle. Also the platform is easy to use while still being very effective.

To me the frustrating part is that deleted tasks can be hard to locate in the system.
