“My experience with Asana”

Pros

My overall experience with Asana has been excellent. Its super user-friendly and the visual representations of our projects and tasks make it easy for others to understand what we are working on.

Cons

I do not see any functions that would make me dislike Asana.

Pros

It is amazingly easy to use. Instead of complicating things to justify its cost, Asana allows me to tailor the internal sheets exactly as needed which eventually makes collaboration with a widespread team easy.

Cons

The only downside is its level of integration with other software we use daily. We knew it did not integrate with some of the software we wanted but we decided it was still worth implementing in our business.

Asana is a simple and affordable project management tool that works for all kinds of projects.

Cons

The design is not the best and the alerting system could be improved.

It has been really helpful for me in planning my maintenance tasks around the business. It keeps everything organized and on track.

Project tracking and management have become much easier for me since switching to Asana. Its easy access from both desktop and smartphone has enhanced flexibility and improved my teams productivity.

I did like to see an easier way to integrate document folders with cloud storage to make synchronization smoother.

My team and I use Asana daily for intake, project management and asset hand-off. It serves as a one stop shop for everything related to our projects!

Cons

I wish it was easier to review multiple timelines at once and the Gantt chart is not as flexible or visual as Microsoft Project or SmartSheet.

Pros

Setting up and using Asana is pretty simple and time savvy. It helps me revise plans and stay on top of important deadlines.

Cons

I am not sure but I really like and enjoy using its UI and features.

Asana excels in task and project management with its clean, user-friendly interface. It simplifies collaboration and organization which allows me to create tasks, assign them, set deadlines and track progress in various views (list, board, calendar, timeline). Integration with tools like Slack, Google Drive and Microsoft Teams improves productivity and ensures a seamless workflow across different platforms.

Cons

Even though Asana has many strengths, it can sometimes feel cluttered with too many features which creates a steep learning curve for new users. The mobile app while functional, is less intuitive and lacks some features available on the desktop version. Additionally, the free version has limited functionality and the cost of premium plans can be quite high for small teams or startups. Some users including myself, may also find the notification system overwhelming due to frequent updates that can be distracting.

Honestly, I haven't encountered anything that has been a real pain point for me.

We use Asana to improve, maintain and project new ideas and implementations in the CX area. By combining clear strategies and tasks with the tool we avoid overlapping work.

Cons

The price is somewhat expensive for Latin America, but its worth it compared to other options. However, support does not seem to prioritize bugs or account issues much.

The calendar in Asana is very easy to use which makes scheduling times simple for everyone.

Cons

Syncing our calendars took a bit of time and is not always up to date.

Pros

Asana is one of the top tools for project management software. Its easy to understand dashboard and option to create custom templates are great as it allows me to use predefined structures for projects and reuse them in the future.

Cons

Some nice features, like timeline view, advanced search and custom fields, are only available in the premium version which can be expensive for small teams or companies.

Asana is fantastic for managing projects, tasks and workflows. It gives me increased visibility by displaying updates and working within a single thread. Keeping tasks classified and assigning them to specific individuals is very easy with Asana.

I have thought a lot and a lot but I have not found anything I dislike yet.

I really like the ease of use and the ability to get updates in real-time on POs and other items.

Everything has worked smoothly so far and I only use the PO creation feature.

Asana offers several advantages. Such as its free version is quite powerful for small teams, its accessible from any device with an internet connection and its very easy to use.

Navigation across different boards and areas could be more streamlined, perhaps with a sidebar directory.

Despite its robust features, Asana allows me, even as a novice user, to set up my needs effectively thanks to the training events and lesson videos they provide. This helps our teams access information on every project, including links to our Dropbox account, all in one place. As a project manager overseeing many projects with tight deadlines, this is invaluable.

Cons

Anyone who prefers a visual approach to track upcoming tasks, whether as an individual or a team can benefit from Asana. It is an excellent for teams needing to see what significant projects their colleagues are working on. They offer great customer support. However, if you need a lot of visual details for specific tasks you might not find it very helpful.
