Asana took our everything to the next level

Pros

We are absolutely enamored with Asana! It has completely transformed the way we approach and execute projects elevating the efficiency and success of our wholesale company. Our tasks including receiving quality control location management packing and shipping are seamlessly organized within Asana. Additionally we rely on Asana for project planning and various other aspects of our operations. We can't emphasize enough how much we adore Asana and the positive impact it has had on our team and work processes. It's an indispensable tool that we simply can't do without!

Cons

One downside is that the task scheduling process felt slightly confusing at first. However once we became accustomed to it it wasn't a deal-breaker by any means.

Asana- Project Management of the Future!

Pros

We incorporated Asana into our workflow when the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to work remotely in 3030. Originally intended for tracking our work from home and ensuring we met our daily tasks Asana proved to be an invaluable tool that continues to play a crucial role in our office even as we transition back to a more traditional work environment. We rely on Asana for project planning event coordination and managing outgoing communications to our constituents preventing any overlap or confusion. It has significantly improved team communication allowing us to stay informed about each other's tasks and provide assistance when needed. Asana has truly revolutionized the way we work and has become an essential part of our daily operations.

Cons

Asana fulfills our institution's needs and we were aware of its capabilities when we upgraded to the "PRO" version after using it as free users for a while. It would be beneficial to receive alerts when all project members complete tasks though we understand that might not be how the system functions when multiple collaborators are involved.

Asana is a critical daily use application

Pros

The application's ease of use is remarkable. It allows for quick movement of items across projects resources and workflows. The ability to cross-categorize items ensures a clear view and prioritization of tasks.

Cons

The export options could use some improvement. Having the ability to export data into Excel for seamless sharing across different applications would be fantastic.

Asana for Project Management

Pros

The collaborative nature of Asana allows everyone to input their tasks and deadlines under specific projects making it easy to understand the status and ownership of each task.

Cons

Integrating it into our business has presented challenges since everyone has different preferred methods of task tracking with many still relying on physical lists. It would be beneficial to find ways to keep individuals engaged on the platform instead of resorting to their physical to-do lists.

An answer to speed up work process.

Pros

Asana's user-friendly interface and seamless integration with external devices make it a standout tool. The ability to connect files and local documents from Dropbox is a major highlight. Whether organizing tasks and projects in chronological order or sorting them by due dates Asana offers great flexibility. It has become an essential collaborative instrument that significantly enhances productivity. The platform's accessibility across different browsers and its convenient Android app enable us to manage tasks and activities from anywhere. Asana's comprehensive desktop functionality ensures efficient task tracking assignment and monitoring positively transforming our workflow since its adoption.

Cons

The product's lack of flexibility and customization options for data set building is a drawback. Notion's "pages" and "data sets" offer clients much more versatility in presenting data allowing for design and organization using text headers inline tables images videos etc. In contrast Asana is limited to a specific appearance that only varies based on view types. Customizing properties is not as straightforward as in Airtable or Notion which may be important to experienced project managers.
