“BLINK IS AMAZING!

Pros

I love how user-friendly Blink is. Scheduling posts for the future and providing users with all necessary information in one place is incredibly convenient.

Cons

While the software is easy to use, it can be hard to remember all its features. For example, I recently discovered that you can view user profiles. It might help if the names were more noticeable, indicating they are clickable. Also it would be nice to see posts from the feed reflected in user profiles. It would also be helpful to have filters for top posts, most likes, or hashtags.

The Feed has provided an outstanding platform for sharing company news, boosting engagement through likes and comments. Its familiarity to users of social media platforms is a plus. The Hub effectively serves our goal of sharing content across our international offices. Its ease of use minimizes the need for user training, and setup as an admin is straightforward. Having multiple signup methods is beneficial for colleagues in various work environments.

Cons

We would like more flexibility in the Directory, such as displaying multiple contact numbers and a calendar with room booking functionality. We have not integrated it with our company systems yet, so I can not comment further.

It is just okay for me. I think there are probably many useful features that go unused because my company already uses Teams, Slack, and other similar tools.

The Hub and direct links to our company portals are convenient features of Blink. It's been a valuable tool for timely announcements and articles. I particularly appreciate the option to post as an individual or as part of the Communications Team, along with access to post analytics. Integrating Blink with Slack and/or Microsoft Teams could enhance its utility, considering many of our employees already use those platforms.

I am not sure how many others in my organization use the Chats feature since we already have several other tools that provide similar functionality.

It would be beneficial to have an option for either calling or video calling, especially for admins or managers to reach out to sick employees, especially during the pandemic. Also, it would be useful to have the ability to block or ignore others for a period, like 30 days, as a future option.

Blink has been a lifesaver for me during my furlough period. It keeps me updated on all the news from my colleagues still working, including management up to the MD level. And it's so easy to use!

Cons

Still have not found any flaws. I have even asked my colleagues about adding their portrait pictures to their status, it is helpful to see who you are talking to.
