“BlueBeam Revu Review
Pros
I highly recommend Bluebeam Revu for its simplicity and versatility. Its easy to learn and use offering a wide range of handy tools. I particularly appreciate the cloud tool for highlighting revisions the text editor and the ability to scale from drawings using known dimensions. Its a robust PDF reader and modifier.
Cons
While most tools are great having a few more options for shapes that can be drawn would be beneficial for my specific needs.

“BlueBeam Revu Review
Pros
Bluebeam is simple to learn and use. There are so many handy tools and I don't even use a lot of them in my line of work but I know others who do. I particularly like the cloud tool to bring attention to revisions but also like the text editor and the ability to scale from a set of drawings by picking two points with a known dimension.
Cons
While most tools are excellent I wish there were more shape options available for drawing. I utilize shapes to create clear legends for specific sets of drawings.

“Highly recommended for AECO businesses!
Pros
Bluebeam Revu is a great tool for our small engineering business. We use it to create, review, and collaborate on documents with ease. The platform lets us easily make changes and keep track of markups made by team members in real-time. I’m really impressed with how user-friendly the interface is, making it easy for new users to get up to speed quickly with the features offered.
Cons
The only con would be that its mobile app isnt as robust as its desktop version yet. The addition of more features on its mobile app would certainly be welcome. Other than that, I highly recommend Bluebeam Revu for AECO businesses!

“Excellent PDF editing and management tool!
Pros
Bluebeam Revu is an excellent PDF editing and management tool. The platform has everything we need to create, edit, collaborate, and share documents quickly and easily. I especially love the customizable user interface that lets us pin our most used tools for easy access. The integration of other software also makes it convenient for us to use Revu as part of our workflow.
Cons
One issue that made me give a lower score was that Revus mobile app can be slow at times. It’s not a major problem but can be annoying when you’re trying to work on the go. Aside from that, I highly recommend it!

“A long list of helpful features makes Revu stand out!
Pros
I have been using Bluebeam Revu for over three years now and have been very impressed with the features it offers. The ability to mark up PDFs, create and edit drawings, and collaborate in real time with team members has been a major plus for our business. The platform is easy to use and its customer support team is incredibly helpful.
Cons
The only issue I have encountered with Revu is that the collaboration features are not available in the mobile app. That caused some confusion with remote team members and required us to find a workaround. Other than that, it’s been a great experience!

“Pathway to Paperless
Pros
Moving to Bluebeam has significantly reduced paper usage by allowing us to eliminate the need for physical building plan sets for permits and planning applications. This transition has made my job much less stressful and more environmentally friendly.
Cons
While the transition has been positive some individuals may find it challenging to adjust to the shift away from physical plans.

“Embracing a Paperless Path with Bluebeam
Pros
Bluebeams greatest advantage for our organization is the ability to eliminate the need for physical building plan sets, significantly reducing paper usage.

“Above and beyond what competition can offer!
Pros
It was sold to me as documentation software but it is far more than that. Bluebeam is a complete solution for any construction work, which has made everything so easy for me. It allows drawings to be overlaid to show where changes have been made. This also applies to contracts. I can overlay the pages to see if the paper was altered at all. Im also able to convert PDFs into forms instantly.
Cons
Initially, it took me quite a long while to learn this software due to a different layout. And there are a lot of icons for the various functions the software can perform. This makes it a tad more difficult to master. However, I was able to modify the layout to my liking, which minimized this issue.

“Ideal for PDF management.
Pros
I have been in the field of construction for about 10 years now and I have yet to come across a PDF software as good as Bluebeam, at least in this field. Our project managers and estimators all have Bluebeam Revu, which has made its integration easier. It has an excellent way of managing bookmarks and text recognition so we have been able to improve the quality of work greatly over time.
Cons
I haven’t been a fan of the look they’ve chosen after the last update. And some of our users find the huge amount of menus, buttons, and options overwhelming, but that is true to be expected from software with so many features.

“Review from a long term user. Great software even if it is hard to learn
Pros
I always use it to view and modify PDF files. It is very simple and easy to provide the managers or vendors with whatever info they may require to measure something. PDFs are highly customizable and notes can be added to any misinterpretation is ruled out. I absolutely love the fact that the toolbox I set just once, in the beginning, has been saved and is ready for me to access whenever I launch the software.
Cons
There’s no easy way of learning Revu in my opinion. You really have to put all the effort in it or hire someone with enough expertise to fully reap its benefits. However, its fantastic once you figure it out.

“Bluebeam Revu: Unleashing Customization and Collaboration
Pros
In my experience as a user, one standout feature of Bluebeam Revu is its customizable user interface. Its incredible to be able to create a workspace tailored to my specific requirements and preferences, complete with personalized toolbars, keyboard shortcuts, and unique markups and stamps. Additionally, the softwares markup and collaboration tools have revolutionized the way I annotate and comment on PDF projects in real time. The ability for project teams to work simultaneously on the same document has been invaluable, and the range of markup tools, such as text boxes, callouts, and highlighters, has greatly facilitated our work.
Cons
While Bluebeam Revu offers significant strengths, including its customizable user interface and extensive markup and collaboration tools, there are some aspects that may present challenges to users. One main drawback is the steep learning curve associated with the software. Initially, I found it overwhelming and difficult to grasp all the features and capabilities. It took time and persistence to become proficient, especially since I wasnt accustomed to working with PDF documents or collaboration tools. However, with practice, I managed to overcome these initial obstacles. Its important to note that the learning curve may be less steep for users already familiar with PDF documents or other collaboration tools, but newcomers to such software may require some time to adapt.

“Comprehensive Maritime Solution
Pros
I've been using Bluebeam Revu for a few months now and I'm extremely satisfied with the comprehensive software suite it provides. It's perfect for creating editing and collaborating on digital documents. The ability to easily share documents with my colleagues is a great advantage. The user interface is intuitive and userfriendly and the convenience of accessing documents from anywhere is highly beneficial. I highly recommend this software for maritime professionals.
Cons
The only minor drawback I've noticed is that it can be a bit slow when working with large documents. Additionally in urgent situations I sometimes find it challenging to quickly locate specific tools in the menus. However overall my experience with Bluebeam Revu has been excellent.

“Must-have software for construction companies
Pros
Bluebeam has proven to be immensely useful. I can create all of my RFIs, shop drawings, and detailed clarifications from as many sources as I want. There have been so many instances when I came up with fresh uses for the default tools that come with the software. Saves a lot of cost and time!
Cons
Bluebeam doesnt bode well with all of the fonts we use at the company. It has had some trouble handling some of the PDFs, which appear to be broken but are fine when we preview it outside of the software.

“Technical features that can handle complex tasks
Pros
It might look like just another PDF editor clone but trust me when I say that it’s beyond your expectations! Bluebeam is geared toward technical jobs with capabilities like revision clouds and grid lines etc. It is simple to annotate the drawings. I also appreciate the ability to compare two documents by simply placing them on top of one another. It is that easy.
Cons
There are so many features and buttons that it can occasionally be difficult to locate exactly what you need. I found Adobe Acrobat Pro to be easier to use in such cases. However, Bluebeam Revu is designed for technical organizations, whereas Adobe is targeted at general document reviews. I would like to have the option to toggle between a complex Adobe-like user interface and a more straightforward one.
