“Flexible PDF File Editor
Pros
Bluebeam handles a wide range of PDF tasks effectively making it a versatile tool for our needs. The collaboration feature for realtime multiuser edits has been particularly valuable for remote work.
Cons
I dislike the shift to a subscriptiononly purchase model I preferred the standalone licenses we used to have. The annual subscription cost can add up over time.

“A flexible PDF file editor that helps us estimate analyze and mange construction projects.
Pros
Bluebeam is one of the best PDF management programs particularly in the realm of construction projects as it allows us to highlight the details of plans and allocate measurements accurately allowing us to take measurements directly and also calculate areas and sizes directly from PDF files even if it is a manual drawing. The ability to alter texts is fantastic and I also enjoy that new elements symbols and even pagination can be added with relative ease. It's simple to add a digital signature which is useful for keeping tabs on who approved and received credit for files that were shared across teams.
Cons
After overcoming the initial learning curve using Bluebeam is straightforward. However the high annual subscription costs prevent us from including all team members.

“Great for construction and very economical (for large organizations)
Pros
One of the best features of Bluebeam is no doubt the real-time collaboration. It supports multiple users to work simultaneously in a single file when posted to a session. If one user is marking up and adding remarks, others may simultaneously read these comments and make changes of their own.
Cons
In all honesty, the only drawback I found is the learning curve. It is quite difficult to master the software and there’s not much self-help available which I needed the most.

“Comprehensive suite of features but no customization
Pros
Bluebeam Revu has a comprehensive suite of features for PDF editing, markups, and collaboration. The integration with other software is also great and makes it easier for us to use the platform as part of our workflow. We also appreciate the customizable toolbox that lets us pin commonly used tools to save time.
Cons
The only downside is that the platform doesn’t offer any customization options for its interface. It would be nice to have the ability to customize it according to our needs and preferences. That can cause some confusion when training new users. Other than that, we’re really happy with the platform!

“Useful tool for construction
Pros
I love how it seamlessly integrates with our Civil 3D for drafting and creating drawings. The use of it for engineering drawings is quick and easy. The option to calibrate your own scale and measure quantities to scale is one outstanding feature. And with remote working, you can use it to create markups and redlines on PDF documents instead of by hand.
Cons
It takes some time to rediscover the Bluebeam functions because the UI is frequently changed during yearly software version releases.
