Pros
The most utilized feature is team collaboration in live document mark-up, ensuring work/tasks get completed. It is user-friendly, and customization is effortless.
Cons
An application or link usable on a mobile device for quick mark-ups while on-site would be beneficial.

“My preferred document management program
Pros
I like the Revu portion of this program the most because we are in an architectural office that deals with a lot of consultant drawings that don't necessarily use our programs.
Cons
What I like least about this program is its demanding nature on my computer.

“Great for Converting Documents To PDF
Pros
Bluebeam Revu is so easy to use, mainly for editing and converting my documents to PDF. I'm pleased with the software. The interface is simple and easy to follow, customizable to suit your needs, and offers numerous editing options. It has been my go-to software for editing and converting documents to PDF because I can make notes on my documents the way I want without any hassles. I think Adobe has competition with this one.
Cons
I've encountered issues where the software goes offline while I'm busy, prolonging the document upload process. Additionally, the app takes up too much storage, in my opinion.

Grasping the highly functional interface posed an initial hurdle, but once accustomed, the powerful features of Bluebeam were appreciated.

“Bluebeam - the easiest pdf markup software I've used!
Pros
Most tools you could possibly need are simply found and deployed. More complicated options are robust and accessible and the Bluebeam online database is easy to search for anything you could possibly need!
Cons
Sometimes the license manager doesn't know that I do have a license - twice in 3 years I've had to get my IT dept involved.

“Best PDF Program for Architecture/Design/Construction
Pros
The features that Bluebeam Revu has are far above and beyond to other PDF reading/editing software out there especially for those that are in the design/construction industry. It has a slight learning curve when you're used to other programs but once you learn there is no going back. The best feature in my opinion is the ability to collaborate in real time. When files are uploaded to a Session multiple people can be in the same file at the same time. Someone can be marking up and making comments while others can be seeing these comments and revising things on their end at the same time. There is no need to wait for a person to finish marking up a file and send it in an email it can be done simultaneously.
Cons
Honestly there are not many cons about this software. The only issue I had with the program was the learning curve of how to use it as I had to learn on my own.

“The best software for engineers!
Pros
BlueBeam supports many different file formats compared to Adobe Reader. It can open Image files and can open Internet browser through it. This makes it one stop solution station for multiple problems. It reduces workload. BlueBeam allows sessions that can be used by multiple organizations and trades and same time. This save project budget and time.
Cons
BlueBeam can not open 3 online sessions at same time. In order to that you have to exit out of one session to access another. This is time consuming and unnecessary.

“You need to ditch Acrobat if you're in the AEC business
Pros
Bluebeam's ability to automate page label renaming, set architectural scale for accurate measurements, and batch hyperlink shop drawings is highly appreciated for its stability and crash-free performance.
Cons
The licensing scheme feels outdated, especially in 2023. Streamlining the activation process across multiple machines or transitioning to a login-based system, like Autodesk, would be more customer-friendly.

It would improve usability if dragging a drawing out retained all buttons around the drawing, rather than just the drawing itself.

“You need to ditch Acrobat if you're in the AEC business
Pros
Being able to rename page labels automatically set architectural scale for each sheet for accurate measurements being able to batch hyperlink my shop drawings before I send to clients. Very stable I can't remember having any crashes.
Cons
The licensing scheme seems outdated as it restricts use across devices without additional licenses. A more flexible login-based system like Autodesk's would be preferred.
