I use BQE CORE because it functions very well with what I do & the projects that I need to keep track of. It is very user-friendly & the customer support that is found here is one that is hard to come by.

Sometimes the program will run a bit slower than others that I use on my computer, but that could very well be related to the amount of information under one's profile rather than being a quality issue.

Creating new projects using templates has been a tremendous time saver. The ability to easily track expenses and billable hours per project phase has made invoicing through CORE a breeze.

The platform is slow. Training/onboarding could be more in depth. While the software is intuitive it does take more time to implement than we initially expected. The calendar integration needs work. While report templates are great, you do not have the ability to fully customize reports.

What I like the most is that I can have a better control of the projects and times that are going to be charged to the clients.

The point of improvement that the application has, is that it should reduce the solution times of the errors that appear (which are very few).

BQE is a fantastic product to track time & expenses. I work in the Architecture industry and this is a great tool to keep track of billable/non billable hours. The website also provides great insight into historical hours that you can use when determining pricing with clients and such.

Time management section can be improvised as it requires notes to be written for every hour entered

The constraints of having different modules to make some of the workflow functional is a downside.

This database covers everything, enabling time entries to match up with allocated hours to match up with invoices and budgets - a great piece of software that does everything administrative so I can focus on my job. They have stellar customer service - emails get a response often same-day, and when I call I always get a human who is very knowledgeable in the workings of the software.

It is occasionally buggy, and I would like more customization for non-programmers, but they're updating things all the time.

BQE has a clean and simple interface that is easy to navigate. If you mess up when entering information, it is very forgiving and allows for changes to be made in order to correct mistakes.

I have been using BQE Software for almost 4 years now. I have been reguarly logging hours and expenses as part of my daily work. I really love the app version in which I can snap a picture on the go from my receipt and toss the receipt away immediatelly. It has saved me tons of time of collecting receipts and then balancing my credit card account. For example, I have a colleague that takes 7-8 hours per month reviewing paper and digital receipts and logs them in. I take 30 seconds after the purchase and go on with my work. Tracking billable hours is also pretty easy and there are couple of options to do so for each personality from using project timers that you can play and pause to straight old-fashined type of plug-in. Overall, I am very happy of this software.

Nothing to complain about. My use of the software is limited to what has been requested of me.
