I like how the entire platform can be customized. It is a full-fledged web application that can be tailored to be as advanced, simple or personalized as needed. I also had a great experience with BI support.

Personally, I find it to be quite confusing and complex, and it took me a while to learn how to use the backend, which might be expected for backends in general. Initially, Brightidea felt like being in a pilot's cockpit, with an overwhelming number of knobs and buttons to keep track of. The wide range of features also slows down the backend and makes it less responsive compared to enjoyable and well-designed software.

We use this software it in our organization for so many different purposes which includes crowdsourcing innovative ideas from our employees. BrightIdea has provided us with an accessible platform to collect and store our innovative ideas easily at one platform.

I like the ease and speed with which I can set up initiative/challenge pages. Additionally, the ability to create pipelines to evaluate and track the progress of ideas, as well as easily route them to the appropriate evaluator(s), is highly beneficial. The customer support is excellent, with quick response times and efficient resolution turnaround.

The language translation feature needs improvement for more accurate results. It would be beneficial to have clearer distinctions between the different apps. Having different templates/layouts that align with the main purpose of each application would be fantastic. For instance, the 'Discuss' app should resemble a discussion board rather than adopting the same format as the other applications, where each submission is treated as an individual idea board.

We have had significant ideas that comes from a team member's Bright Idea submission, leading to the establishment of sister companies. It is definitely worth having! It also give a platform for engagement and empowerment among team members. Moreover, there are options to customize our own Bright Idea "portal" specific to our organization.

When reviewing submissions, the ease of use can be a missing point. In the pipeline view, it's not possible to see the specific submission number without hovering over it. Having the ability to customize the submission form layout to meet the end users' needs would be beneficial.
