Pros

Canopy has been incredibly helpful in properly and productively routing my tasks. I'm also thrilled that there's a convenient iOS app for on-the-go productivity!

Cons

My main concern with Canopy was the inability to customize certain aspects of recurring projects and the Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) feature.

Great tool for smooth relationship with Clients.

Pros

I've fallen in love with its user-friendly interface, which allows me to maintain professionalism with various types of customers. Employees also love Canopy because they feel safe and secure while sharing their views and opinions on the platform.

Cons

The most amazing thing about this accounting practice management suite is how it has completely transformed my work. It not only freed me from tedious and repetitive tasks but also provided me with a comprehensive tool to efficiently manage and organize my accounting firm.

Cons

Showed some early promise but now payments are a disaster

Pros

I was impressed by how easy it was for my clients to upload and send me documents using Canopy.

Cons

Previously, Canopy used Paysafe for payments, and it was acceptable. However, they recently switched to Ayden, which has caused numerous issues. We can't add new payments, process old payments, or see decline codes. The transparency with CC or ACH ledgers has disappeared, making it a nightmare to collect payments from our clients.

Great Fit For Small Tax Practice

Pros

Canopy covers all the features I need in my client-facing tech stack, all in one platform. I can easily share/receive files, send e-sign requests, manage work, send invoices, receive payments, and pull IRS transcripts. The support team has been responsive and helpful with all my inquiries.

Cons

Canopy is an evolving and growing platform, which occasionally leads to bugs and changes in the user experience.

Why do you need Canopy?

Pros

The most important features are user-friendly and allow for easy sharing of files within our own files, company team files, and clients' files. Importing new zip files with multiple folders is not a annoying task anymore as I don't have to create new folders or filenames. Canopy creates and saves files exactly where I need them.

Cons

I've noticed a slight decrease in speed when the client sharing folder contains numerous documents.
