Best Beta Management software out there!

Pros

I have found it to perform very well, with no outages affecting us in over 10 years of use. It is very configurable for both customer-facing parts and beta manager setups. It serves as a one-stop shop for all things beta and integrates nicely with JIRA and our SSO systems for internal programs. The support team is top-notch and quick to resolve any self-inflicted issues we cause.

Cons

Some users find the UI difficult to navigate initially, but they catch on after some guidance. We often need tech support for migrations and integrations, so a wizard would be helpful.

Is it worth the cost of investment?

Pros

I like that it serves as a self-service portal for our Alpha and Pilot customers. They can download files and instructions, as well as have links to provide software for download. The tasks feature is a great use of the tool.

Cons

Setting it up is too complex for our liking. We wanted an 'out of the box' solution without having to create templates or views. Running reports to check task completion and feedback isn't very intuitive, although the solution itself is robust.

Easy to use, powerful tool for gathering Voice of Customer and BETA feedback

Pros

I find it very easy for admins like myself, team members, and external customers to use. The email integration and automatic update notifications are extremely powerful and useful.

Cons

Some of the more powerful administrative functions have confusing UI/UX, especially during customer onboarding. Once you understand how they work, though, they're easy to use.

Involve customers for new product experience in centercode

Pros

I could create a group of customers to manage them in various sub-forums and easily set up surveys and reports after customer responses. It also provides rich filter functionalities to get the info I want.

Cons

It would be really convenient to have a connection between the community app and the Centercode forums. This would improve ease of use and customer engagement.

Centercode for Managers

Pros

I can have a group onboarded and use this to test all my features.

Cons

Giving privileges and access is difficult, and it's unclear whether I am signing up as an admin or just a user. There's a lack of clarity in this aspect.

Indispensable Tool for Beta Programs

Pros

I am truly impressed by the breadth of features. There's so much that Centercode can do that sometimes it's almost overwhelming. If I can dream it, there's a good chance Centercode can do it , it just might take some creativity in working around limitations.

Cons

As a project admin, the new user experience is tough. It takes about a week of Centercode training for new team members, and even then, you only grasp the small details after making mistakes.

CenterCode Review

Pros

I find it to be an excellent collaboration tool with our beta customers. The tool is the backbone of how we interact and collect data from our beta customer testers.

Cons

The reporting module needs improvement. Manipulating charts and tables for usable reports is nearly impossible. It should allow exporting data into customized PowerPoint templates to save time.

Amazing Team - Well integrated platform

Pros

The ease of integration with the enterprise databases and bug management system, and how to categorize those issues so that users don't see duplicates, are among few things I like the most about this software.

Cons

Some survey drafting features need enhancements, though they might not be needed by everyone.

A great product with even greater support

Pros

The greatest feature of the platform for me is the customization and custom automation. If I put in the work to seek what can be done, I will find plenty of ways to automate or simplify many things. The support is very helpful in getting me on the right path, as well.

Cons

My main issue with the platform is the complexity of implementing filters. Creating complex filters involves repetitive cycles, but I've heard Centercode is working on streamlining this process.

Centercode

Pros

Centercode has allowed my organization to facilitate multiple field trials simultaneously, providing a consistent interface and methodology across each trial and phase. The ability to copy and reuse reporting and other templates greatly decreases the required Admin work for me.

Cons

Centercode can be challenging to learn initially, with multiple methods to perform actions, but usually, only one proper method is not always apparent.

Centercode does a great job

Pros

The ability to create macros to perform smaller functions is always very helpful to me.

Cons

While it seems simple at first, it gets complicated as you delve deeper. This complexity sometimes feels like programming to make it work as desired.

Centercode for Beta testing

I am capable of guiding a large tester community of over 2500 testers in multiple test projects.

Cons

Setting up new projects from scratch, defining tester authorities, involves a lot of work with many hidden settings menus.

Music technology is a long-term experience

Pros

Centercode helps me get long-term feedback from a dedicated community of private beta participants. It's an all-encompassing tool that supports our needs for hosting and communicating with our UR & QA communities, collecting unsolicited feedback (forums, suggestions), and collecting focused, solicited feedback (surveys, emails).

Cons

Workflows are abstract, and the information architecture is more centered around artifacts than workflows. This biases external user participation towards technically inclined people.

Solid features, but clunky user experience

Pros

Centercode makes it easy for me to invite beta participants, manage reports, bugs, and suggestions, and add tasks and reminders for participants.

Cons

Many features are hard to find and use, lacking intuitive organization. For instance, all email-related features should be in one place.
