“great coverage and fast setup”
Pros
It handles most business needs well for us and the platform is user-friendly with a smooth onboarding process. Access is easy, support is available 24/7 and it also integrates nicely with other tools we use.
Cons
There really isn't much to complain about. One upside is that the data is presented much more clearly and since many tasks get completed in one go, there's no need to use it constantly. The implementation process is also simple.

“centralized product data hub”
Pros
This software replaces multiple spreadsheets, emails and disconnected systems for us by bringing all product-related data into one central place.
Cons
A downside is that it takes quite a while to learn and getting support or making changes can be difficult.

“clean interface and flexible workflows”
Pros
The clean and simple interface made onboarding faster for us and also helped with day-to-day work. The configurable workflows fit the way we operate at Mavenberg which makes the system feel aligned with our processes rather than forcing us to adapt.
Cons
A few tasks still require some extra clicks and when working with larger data loads, the platform can feel a little slow from time to time.

“simple hub for product teams”
Pros
From day one, this has felt like a thoughtfully built, user-friendly platform for us that makes collaboration and visibility much simpler for our team. It acts as one reliable source of truth for product data which keeps everyone aligned and working more efficiently. The interface is simple and tools like the calendar and task management features make it easy for us to keep track of responsibilities. Overall, it has aligned our product development process and helped us shorten the time it takes to launch.
Cons
Getting around the platform was a little overwhelming at the beginning and setting up views or tabs does not always feel very simple. It also lacks some flexibility when it comes to importing data and working with large datasets or automating uploads could be more convenient.

“powerful tool with strong collaboration”
Pros
Using this product has been a positive experience overall for us. It's a mature, user-friendly product lifecycle management platform that really boosts collaboration, visibility and efficiency across teams. The interface feels simple and the system itself is great, with a broad feature set that helps support product development and improve time-to-market.
Cons
One thing that could definitely be better is the flexibility around data imports. The current restrictions on bulk uploads through Excel files, APIs, or other automated options can be frustrating, especially when working with large volumes of data. If those capabilities were added, the tool would be even more powerful and save a lot more time.

“simple and customizable platform”
Pros
Getting started with this system felt very easy, even as someone completely new to it. Compared with other IT systems I've used at previous companies, this one is much more simple and easier to move around in. It also gives you plenty of customization options which makes it adapt well to different business needs.
Cons
It would be even better if there were more automation and syncing for C/O information, instead of needing to manually update it for every season a product remains active.

“powerful workflow customization”
Pros
The platform is really powerful and highly customizable. It can be configured in a lot of different ways which makes it possible to tailor and optimize the workflows I actually need.
Cons
The frustrating part is that you can't make certain customizations on your own unless you pay for service hours and go through their required classes. Considering the software is already expensive, locking those capabilities behind additional costs feels like price gouging, especially with how overpriced their service hours are.

“Clear roles and unified product data”
Pros
Having this as part of our product lifecycle management process has been incredibly valuable. It acts as a central source of truth for product information, supplier quotes and ongoing communication. Once you spend time exploring its capabilities, it becomes clear that the platform was designed with a lot of thought around every stage of product management. It also does a really good job of defining roles and responsibilities while giving all stakeholders clear visibility.
Cons
Getting around the platform comes with a pretty steep learning curve. The navigation can feel tough at times and it is fairly easy to lose your place while moving through different areas. Adopting more UI best practices and adding clearer visual cues would make it much more user-friendly. I would also love to see a more powerful built-in chat or communication feature in the future. When conversations turn into longer threads, we still end up relying on email and it would be much better if all of that communication could live inside the system.

“all-in-one product hub”

“helpful style tools and calendar”
Pros
As someone new to the system, I appreciated getting to learn how styles are created and exploring the different tools available to customize the view so projects fit the way I work. The calendar feature is also really useful for me since it lets me assign tasks to other team members and keep track of what needs to be completed.
Cons
Setting up views or tabs can be a bit confusing, especially when you are still learning how everything should be organized. There are also many libraries and sections to pick from which can feel overwhelming at times.

“central hub for every team”
Pros
For me, having one system that covers most of what's needed and acts as a single source of truth across design, development and merchandising is the biggest advantage.
Cons
There are extra service packages available at an additional charge and I really think those services should be included in the standard upgrade since that package is already quite expensive.

“versatile and quick to learn”
Pros
Bringing information together in so many different ways has been really useful for me. I came into this job completely new to the system and it was simple for me to pick up at the start while still giving me more to learn as I use it every day.
Cons
Frustrating part is when it glitches, everything gets held up because you can't leave a page without saving and there's no autosave feature to fall back on.

“centralized workflows with limited data visibility”
Pros
Instead of relying on Excel spreadsheets, an ERP and Google Forms across the company, I've found it really helpful to have everything organized and maintained in one place. I can see this being especially effective for businesses that work closely with suppliers and factories to get products made and sold. Another big plus for me is how simple it is to push and pull data through the REST API which makes the connection between systems feel very convenient.
Cons
The part that has been frustrating is not having direct access to the underlying data itself. Since I'm the technical person responsible for moving data into and out of the system, it can be difficult to figure out where the information I need lives without first making multiple API requests to track it down.

“best-in-class ERP integration”
Pros
Everything about it feels deliberately designed for me. The different modules clearly come from one shared vision rather than being built separately and stitched together later. Once I learned how one area works, that same logic carries over to the rest of the system which makes it very simple to use. Another big advantage for us is how actively the team listens to customers. They regularly ask for user feedback and often build those suggestions into the product which makes it even more practical for the industry. Our implementation was guided by an outstanding IT team, so the whole process was easy to follow for us. That same group also integrated Centic with our existing ERP system which saved us countless hours and improved our accuracy in a major way. Support has also been exceptional. Whether it is a basic question or an actual system issue, we usually get a resolution within two hours. I work in it nearly all day, every day and after using several other major IT systems, this one is simply the best for me.
Cons
It is hard to point to much of a downside. If I had to mention one thing, it would be the price, because an IT purchase like this is definitely not cheap. The team is actually very upfront about that and makes it clear that it may be the most expensive platform out there, while also saying it is the best option available and widely used by major manufacturers. From what I have seen, that claim holds up. We did spend more on it than we would have on some other systems but the time savings and jump in accuracy have more than made up for the higher upfront cost.
