It meets our project management needs comprehensively at an affordable price. The customer support is excellent, and the availability of multiple views, such as Gantt, Lists, and Workload, adds to its richness.

Performance and auto-screen refreshes could be improved. There are several usability functions that could use enhancements, and the team is actively working on fixing them. Working with sub-tasks, sub-sub-tasks, etc., can be cumbersome, and we had to find alternative approaches.

The multi-tiered task management in ClickUp is fantastic. The built-in Docs feature is especially useful for taking notes and tagging specific tasks, which we utilize during staff meetings.

I had high hopes that the Chat view could serve as a Slack alternative, but the views feel too isolated and difficult to navigate. If accessing the chat view is not as easy as sending a text, people won't think to use it. Furthermore, it's a bit slow to load on desktop, mobile, and in-browser.

The free version of ClickUp is fantastic for any team starting out with online project management. Its features and layout will suit many teams. Among the various project management tools available, each has its strengths and a unique user interface and experience to consider. I believe that within a month of using ClickUp, you'll know if it's the right fit for you.

Cons

Unfortunately, ClickUp wasn't the ideal project management tool for our team. With multiple elements, people, and projects, we require a PM platform that is extremely simple, intuitive, and clean. The ClickUp dashboard didn't provide the clear organization and overview features we needed.
