This software simplifies the process of clocking in and out for our employees, eliminating unnecessary paperwork for our payroll department. As a result their jobs become easier and more efficient. This is a huge advantage for our large organization. Also the program offers numerous features and customization options.

Cons

Occasionally there are stability issues like app crashes. These incidences are rare and infrequent. They are not a major concern and are outweighed by the benefits.

One of my employees has never been able to get the software to function on his Android smartphone. I do not know what was the issue but it was somewhat annoying.

I decided to sign up based on a recommendation from a friend who is a labor law attorney. The setup process was quick and the software appears to go well with all Department of Labor requirements.

It is frustrating that they require at least two users for owners with just one employee, even if the owner doesn't track time using the software. Additionally, it's not always easy to determine which plan you are on and if a payment is missed, they lock you out and prevent you from making a payment unless you have a card on file.

While everyone loves something that is free, running a business often requires more than that. However, the free trial of this software was beneficial as it allowed us to test it on the job and determine if it was the right solution for us. We appreciated its user-friendly nature and how intuitive it was. There was no need to search for instructions or navigate confusing tabs. We liked it and more importantly, our contractors also found it easy to use.

Pros

I appreciate that the software assigns login numbers and provides weekly reports for payroll. It's easy for administrators to modify the time for employees who forget to clock in or out. The employees like being able to view their hours from the app on their phones. The customer support has been excellent, and the representative has been incredibly helpful and available whenever needed.

Cons

I wish there was an alert to management when an employee fails to clock out. There isn't much I dislike about this app so it's not a significant drawback because I catch it when I pull the report.

Running weekly payroll for two companies using paper timesheets or Excel was a nightmare. Our accountant introduced us to Clockineasy and we haven't looked back since. The crew clocks in once they arrive on-site and their timesheets provide me with all the necessary information needed including GPS project location, face recognition and precise time tracking. Most job sites start before I even reach the office, but I can monitor everything through the mobile app on my way in. At the end of the week, I generate a report for the accountant and a job costing report for my boss, who can see which projects the team spent their time on. I highly recommend it for construction and plumbing businesses!

Cons

Some personnel at the office didn't like clocking in with a photo due to the face recognition feature. However it later became an optional feature, so it is not an issue.

The tablets were set up within 10 minutes, providing us with simplicity and convenience. Our employees can clock in from any hotel which is beneficial as our staff rotates. The fact that they only need to remember one PIN code to clock in is helpful. We use face recognition to prevent buddy punching and we can leave the tablet unattended. The GPS feature isn't essential for us but it is also nice to have. Every week, my accountant receives a report for both locations via email and we are all pleased with how streamlined our timesheets and payroll have become. It's a compact system with numerous impressive features, and it has saved us a lot of headaches, time, and money. I highly recommend it, especially for businesses with seasonal or hourly staff.

The vacation/sick day settings could be improved. I have already mentioned this to customer support and I believe they will work on it soon

“A contractors dream come true

Pros

I can't imagine how we managed without it before. Initially, I was skeptical and hesitant about using a time tracking software as I was thinking it might be too much for my employees. But I was completely wrong. Clockineasy saves my office a significant amount of time and eliminates the hassle of morning and afternoon text messages from employees. Before it was chaotic. With Clockineasy, everything is organized right away. No more texts, Excel sheets or emails are required. I provided my payroll provider with a user ID and every Wednesday, it's like clockwork. I'm not sure how much money we have saved as we never kept track. I'd be willing to bet it's in the thousands annually, certainly more than the cost of the system.

Cons

If you don't archive employees after they leave the company, you get charged for them. Even if they didn't use the app during the billing period. It doesn't happen often now because I stay on top of it along with my office manager.

“Keeps the Integrity & Ease in Timesheets

Pros

We've always had problems with employee timecards, especially when it comes to accurately tracking their clock-in and clock-out times. I am impressed with how the software displays the employees locations, allowing us to monitor them when necessary. I am also a fan of the facial recognition feature which prevents employees from sharing timecards or clocking in for their colleagues. ClockInEasy has saved us an incredible amount of time and money. i couldn't be more happier!

Cons

Depending on the number of employees, the cost can increased. However, I believe it is worth it considering the accuracy of the timecards.

Pros

We utilize Clockineasy at my warehouse and it's incredibly simple for my employees to clock in and out. It has made payroll a painless task for me and has saved me 3 to 4 hours every week.

Cons

Sometimes employees forget to clock out and I have to manually edit it. But overall the process has been seamless.
