“Flawless switch with better admin UI
Pros
Since our organization switched from Jira to Linear moving our timesheet and project tracking (previously managed with Tempo) over to Everhour was flawless. Everything synced up perfectly without interrupting our workflow. And I really like the admin UI of Everhour as it's cleaner, simpler and just much better to work with day-to-day compared to what we were using before.
Cons
I am slightly annoyed that timesheets default to weekly. I mean I'd prefer the pay period to default to monthly. I also want the option to filter by Label instead of being forced to use Project or create a new report for that view.

“Helps me stay organized and on top
Pros
What I really like is how it helps me stay consistently organized and keeps me on top of my tasks without any extra effort. Plus it integrates so smoothly with project boards like Asana creating one smooth workflow where my time tracking and project management work together perfectly instead of feeling like separate tools.
Cons
For smaller teams I think the pricing is quite high though I still find it to be useful for our team's everyday workflow overall.

“superior integration makes tasks smoother
Pros
The Asana integration especially stands out to me as it's smooth and keeps everything connected without any extra steps. Beyond that it's far superior to any other time-tracking tool we've tried before. It's more accurate and it genuinely makes managing and reviewing tasks much smoother for everyone on the team.
Cons
There are a few features that would help my workflow but are missing. For instance I'd like to be able to select any day to start my work week instead of being limited to only Sunday or Monday. On top of that the idle detection feature refuses to function correctly for me which is frustrating.

“Simple with great app integration
Pros
I love how simple it is and how well it integrates with the apps we already use.
Cons
Nothing to complain about as it worked the best for me. Also signing in and the integration steps are simple too.

“The computer version is best
Pros
As for me the computer version is definitely the best as it is refreshingly simple to use and incredibly efficient. The layout is clean, navigation feels natural and I can accomplish everything quickly without any clutter or confusion. Its clearly built for getting real work done.
Cons
I cannot log in on my phone as well as I'd like

“easy to use and not complicated
Pros
It is easy to use and very user-friendly. In short I don't think it's complicated at all.
Cons
One thing is confusing for me and that is telling the difference between an absence and a bank holiday.

“user friendly with seamless connection
Pros
What I like most about Everhour is how easy it is to use and how seamlessly it connects with my other tools like Trello.
Cons
The product's features and capabilities are excellent but $50 per month feels steep for a one-person operation. I mean it is easily the most expensive SaaS in my tech stack.

Free Trial
“Great connectivity, no free tier option
Pros
I get instant, real-time updates and it is pretty easy to connect it with project management platforms such as ClickUp.
Cons
There is an issue that I can't switch back to the free tier once the trial ends which is frustrating.

“ideal tool and comes with asana integration
Pros
Using it with Asana is not a problem and I am impressed by how user-friendly it is.
Cons
I wish I could create Asana tasks directly from Everhour. Because brief activities like morning prep or reading a client's email which only take a few minutes cannot be logged unless I first create the task in Asana. I mean it would be great to skip that extra step.

“provide greater control over project time
Pros
The benefit of it is that I now have greater control over how much time I allocate to each project.
Cons
When I add comments in the comment box I end up needing to click through more steps than I'd prefer.

“Detailed real-time reports for insight
Pros
One thing I really like is the detailed, real-time reports Everhour produces because they give us clear insight into how much time we are dedicating to each specific task.
Cons
For smaller teams like ours, the pricing structure feels a bit steep and can be tough for early-stage startups to justify.

“Easy start for task tracking
Pros
I like it because it makes it really easy start time tracking for specific tasks.
Cons
What bothers me is that there are not any tags to categorize the types of tasks I'm recording.

“smooth integration with team visibility
Pros
In our organization it integrates smoothly with Asana and gives me complete visibility into how my team spends their time. Overall this tool is very useful and I really value the daily, weekly and monthly reports that are sent to me automatically.
Cons
I'd love to have the ability to break down time in my reports by custom fields. Because our client groups have tasks scattered across multiple projects, being able to roll up time by the specific custom field we use in Asana would transform how we generate and analyze our time reports.

“Connected everywhere with browser extension
Pros
Everything is connected such as Google Docs and Sheets so I have access everywhere. I also like the browser extension because it lets me look at my activity and start or stop the timer from any page. I rely on the ClickUp app integration daily for my workflow.
Cons
Every so often the timer lags or refuses to stop when I hit stop which is frustrating. And I am not completely certain whether it's a problem with my machine or the app itself though.

“allow to log hours from within project app
Pros
One thing I really appreciated was being able to log my hours straight from within my project management app which helped me keep precise time records for every task I work on.
Cons
Although I thought the time tracking itself worked reliably, I had trouble producing in-depth, tailored reports and found that customizing the report details was somewhat difficult.

“Well-structured clock in/out feature
Pros
As a user I find the clock in/out feature very good and well-structured compared to other tools. In our setup, I map several projects to each recurring client which fits how we operate. When a billing cycle closes, I export an invoice to see exactly how many hours to bill each client. For our business it offers a professional, minimal and easy way to record hours. In short it matched our self-management approach while helping us coordinate tasks and summarize time efficiently.
Cons
A few areas of project management could be improved especially with stricter rules for assigning tasks. My team would benefit from more detailed permission settings. For example accounting staff should be able to publish invoices but not edit time entries or change project details. Currently permissions are too broad for our needs. So more precise access controls would let us keep billing separate from editing time and projects, preventing accidental changes.
