This platform is specifically designed for accountants like me. Finally, no more wasting time trying to search for other tools to fit our needs.

Cons

They are still relatively new in the market, so they are constantly releasing updates. I just hope they strike the right balance and don't overcrowd the software.

Pros

The automation within tasks, subtasks, manual timesheet entry and the timer for current time entry are great. The client portal is excellent, providing an easy link to client documents.

Cons

The client portal needs improvement in terms of allowing clients to easily open standard files like MS Office Word, Excel and PDFs with just one click.

Honestly, all the features are fantastic and they keep adding new ones regularly.

The client portal (which will be added as a future feature) and document management systems don't align with my specific preferences. They are similar to other systems like TaxDome, Canopy and Karbon, but I have particular requirements in these areas. I prefer using CaseWare for document management.

Having one centralized place to track projects is a game-changer. The platform continuously incorporates new features based on customer requests.

If you need help, you initially have to interact with a chatbot rather than a person. If the chatbot can't assist, then you can chat with a person when they become available. It can be frustrating that getting help takes a while.

I like how easy it is to use Financial Cents, particularly when it comes to linking clients, utilizing the client portal and setting up automated reminders and tracking.

I feel the price for the customized portal could be bit more reasonable. I am uncertain if I need integrated portal management. It would be useful if it could connect to Proconnect instead of Lacarte, which we don't use.

The support response time went from around 5 minutes for a chat to over an hour.

Financial Cents has saved my accounting firm a tremendous amount of time and has revolutionized the way we organize and automate document collection from clients, which used to be a major headache. I highly recommend it to all accounting firms!

I am happy with my purchase and can't wait for the comprehensive training so we can utilize this platform to its fullest potential.

The birds-eye view of projects, where you can see the status (percentage of completion and the next person on the task list) is absolutely fantastic.

I wish the tasks were more flexible, and the client communication features were more robust, so I wouldn't need a separate client communication portal.

Navigating through different pages and using the platform is a breeze. I particularly love the timer, which is prominently placed and hard to miss. The tasks feature is amazing. It is very helpful and I can assign tasks to different team members. Projects are also wonderful! The ability to convert emails into projects is a game-changer. Projects make the workflow smoother and more consistent. Additionally, I appreciate having a link to family members' and businesses' accounts.

Cons

It would be helpful if the save button and cancel button were consistently located in the same spot. Sometimes the save button comes first, and other times the cancel button is first. I don't like how easily a completed task can be unchecked. So I think here an additional step would be useful. Also, having the name, date, and time stamp of who completed the task or when it was marked as uncompleted would be helpful.

The team behind Financial Cents consistently adds useful features and updates that significantly enhance the user experience. They fully embrace AI and incorporate it into the template creation process, which is incredibly cool. The support from Financial Cents is outstanding they are highly responsive and actively seek feedback and feature requests from their community to make our firm's operations smoother. Oh, and the Client Portal is fantastic! It's user-friendly, and clients can conveniently access it without needing a password (magic links).

The only downside was the lack of integration with the rest of my tech stack. And later, they suddenly released Zapier support for integration. So the one I issues I have been facing was resolved too!

As someone who always looking for tools to boost productivity and streamline my work, I recently come across Financial Cents, and I must say, it has transformed my project and time management.

I make use of all the features. It is an all-in-one solution for me! Time tracking is easy and detailed. The workflow setup is simple, allowing me to create as many or as few workflows as needed. Setting up automatic notifications for my clients helps reduce mental load and saves time!

I would like to have automatic notification emails sent to my clients. But apart from that, I have no complaints!

After considering various options, I decided to go with Financial Cents for workflow and task management, and I couldn't be happier. While there is always room for improvement because as accountants we have high expectations. Nonetheless, it provides peace of mind and is excellent for team capacity management and workflow control.

It would be great if they could sync with Gmail folders.

I love how easily I can set up client workflows with automations and create client requests directly from the project management platform.
