“Easy order scheduling

Pros

Managing orders with multiple criteria is very essential in our line of work such as available stock, desired delivery dates, order grouping and specific information. The good thing is that software does it all.

Cons

One thing I would like to point out is that it's not easy to clearly communicate our needs and collaborate closely with the Ganacos team to develop a customized tool. Because of this the initial changes in contact persons made the task a bit more challenging for us.

The integration team supported us throughout the software deployment using an Agile methodology. Also Our needs were refined gradually during co construction workshops. The tool is quite flexible and the integration team customized it to meet our specific requirements. With batch deployment we quickly had a functional batch delivered to our business teams.

Cons

The tools remarkable flexibility might be overwhelming for an inexperienced user.

The systems usability and flexibility are remarkable. The time dimension is integrated into all data and it allows for effortless aggregation and disaggregation. Cons

Although flexibility allows to do a lot of customization still its important to ensure proper project framing to prevent excessive tailoring. Also, one thing I like to mention that is not a weakness but I recommend paying attention to designing the data model effectively from the start. Otherwise unexpected performance issues may arise. Utilizing the expertise of the editor for model auditing and validation is highly recommended.

The software is exclusively available in a SaaS version.

The tool is quite flexible Which leads to a lot of problems. Such as it is easy to create complexity. Clearly specifying our needs is very important otherwise thing might go wrong. Also Ensuring the quality of the data is essential for smooth transition. To avoid all these issues Having a knowledgeable administrator who can handle first level corrections is important.

Pros

One thing I like the most about this tool is its ease of use. It offers different views depending on the operations along with sets of filters and specific calculations such as transport type and deliverability percentage.

Cons

The application can be somewhat fragile at times. For example, Ganacos may freeze if a date is entered incorrectly or during mishandling. In such cases we have to wait for the software to be restarted before continuing to work on the instance. There are also some recurring bugs such as filters not updating when changing views or needing to refresh the page (F5) regularly for our changes to take effect.

Personally the most "challenging" aspect is understanding the connections and relationships between tables.
