I use the "Generate reports in CSV format" function and if someone includes a comma within any text it causes problems in the entire report of mine.

It would be great to have a feature within projects that can calculate the total hours used by different resources for that specific project.

The deletion feature of the software is something I am not very happy with. Also it is difficult to recover deleted items so I have to re-enter them for corrections. Additionally having a report feature especially a dashboard, would be helpful.

I would love to see a feature where I can drag the calendar dates with the mouse instead of relying on sensitive arrows.

Ganttic empowers our field service manager to efficiently schedule maintenance visits, system installations, and time off. We can also calculate travel rates and utilization percentages using the reporting feature, which helps us manage their time on the road effectively.

I hope to see more enhanced feature in the future. Such as the ability to connect resource schedules to ADP for automated time-off tracking.

Pros

The graphics are of excellent quality, and the features are incredibly valuable for visualizing capacity. The reports and charts provide me with easy-to-understand visuals that I can use to report at a high level. They can also be as detailed as needed. I appreciate the variety of filters, as they allow me to select and customize the data I want to report on. It's simple to make alterations and see new equipment or resources by refreshing the page.

Cons

It didn't turn out to be as user friendly as we expected. Its quite intuitive for those experienced with scheduling software but newcomers take some time to get used to it. Unfortunately some of the FAQs lack the detailed information we would prefer. However after spending some time with it you become more familiar with the software.

You do not have to face any difficulty using this software as it is easy to use, quite flexible and even cost-effective.

It would be great to have a more robust reporting engine and the ability to export reports in Excel format would be awesome too.

We use Ganttic for forecasting our project portfolio rather than daily tasks. It is simple to learn and easy to use. You have to go through unnecessary complexities and wide features that often make other software difficult and expensive.

I would prefer to be able to set repetitive tasks that automatically populate colors and duration.
