Pros

Ganttic has an amazing layout and interface. There are a few key workflows that may not be immediately understandable and can be hard to know about until you discover them. But once you do, it becomes evident that they were well thought out. Considering the price, it offers great value.

Cons

The documentation and community discussion could be better. The project planning aspect is not strong enough to replace our use of SmartSheet due to predecessor limitations. There are small limitations that impact workflow efficiency, preventing it from being a true 5-star product. However, that doesn't mean it won't meet your needs. It's worth giving it a try.

I can schedule and track projects effortlessly, and it works well.

Cons

Apart from the possibility of switching to another product in the future, there aren't many downsides to the app.

Ganttic is user-friendly and easy to install. The visual interface is fantastic and it works smoothly online. I can easily share information via video conferences.

The detailed screens can be a bit overwhelming. I think it could benefit from a redesign.

There are software available that are quite complex. However, this is not the case with Ganttic as the software is very easy to use. Also it helps me visually track tasks, making decision simple.

Cons

The dependencies between tasks could use some improvement as it seems that not all cases are covered, especially dependencies across different machine types.

Pros

I chose Ganttic specifically for its easy drag and drop resource management capabilities and it fulfills my basic requirements. It has replaced what used to be managed with spreadsheets.

Cons

Sometimes when dragging the bars to indicate a time period for a resource, they snap back to different dates than planned. It takes multiple attempts to properly drag them to the correct days.

The mobile features should be improved so that I can view the entire calendar with ease.

I got a little confused when moving jobs into the calendar. I was attempting to drag them but I was doing it incorrectly.

It is very much user friendly and is wonderful to see real time updates as our schedule is constantly changing. The level of customization available is highly appreciated.

Cons

It would be nice if the location of someone appeared underneath their name instead of you have to click on it. We've added the location in comments next to their names but most of the times it is too long to read completely.

The ability to filter and display a wide range of features greatly aids in resource planning and utilization control.

It would be great to include reporting using more fields. moreover including custom fields in projects and tasks.

It would be great to have the ability to easily change dates for assigned tasks when they are not linked or when they are split into weekly or daily groupings.

You do not have to go through a lot in order to understand the software and visually the data is presented in a great way.

Pros

Ganttic is a user friendly software that we use daily to schedule resources for our numerous projects. The ability to see almost real time modifications to the schedule and sync it with Microsoft Outlook is crucial for our company. The generated Gantt charts for each project and the option to share them with our customers for real-time project updates are also fantastic features.

Cons

The Outlook sync is great but still has some problems. Sometimes tasks are duplicated or erased for unknown reasons. The way it syncs periodic tasks is also a dealbreaker as it inserts separate tasks that can't be deleted all at once like we can with the "Repeat" feature in Ganttic tasks.

We were in search of a program that could help us plan our crews availability and schedule everything beyond just one week. Ganttic fulfills these requirements and more. The filters and multiple views are fantastic. The notifications for subcontractors and the billing department are also beneficial. As we continue implementing Ganttic, we discover more processes that it can help streamline.

It believe that the dependencies and lag times between tasks need some adjustments to align better with typical Gantt charts. The drag and drop function for assigning tasks to resources can be a bit tricky as its easy to accidentally change the tasks date if you're not careful.

It allows the entire company to schedule multiple projects in one place and easily identify potential bottlenecks. The customizability of the software is also outstanding. And the support team is incredibly helpful. The software is well thought out, and every feature serves a purpose.

Cons

The UI is unattractive and there are a few peculiar limitations on the Gantt chart. However the team has been friendly and open to change requests regarding these issues.

I really like that Ganttic is project based and provides detailed reporting to manage time spent on a project.

The two way syncing with Microsoft Outlook didn't meet my expectations and ended up being a feature we had to disable in the end.

The interface on smartphones is very poor as per me and it desperately needs a zoom in and out function.

Finding the right combination of charts or data for an architectural firm can be a bit challenging.

Its easy to implement and set up. The Matrix view from Projects and Resources is excellent, mainly for planning multiple projects with multiple teams.

It lacks the ability to handle subtasks and having an additional level of grouping for resources would be highly beneficial.
