“Dependable source control hub”
Pros
Liked using it... it has been our central repository for all of our application source code. With around 10 developers involved, we rely on its version control features to track changes and spot any code issues that come up.
Cons
The community is very active which helps but we still haven't been able to reach support for some of the problems we've run into. That said I do understand the limitation since it's free open-source software.

“strong source control”
Pros
I've been using it for more than five years and it has been a really reliable platform for source code management and CI/CD.
Cons
It is a bit expensive, the UI could be better and it tends to support Microsoft Azure integrations quite heavily.

“Simple to use”
Pros
It really fixes the whole issue of sharing a project securely with exactly the people you want. There's no longer any need to rely on older methods like file-hosting services or sending everything through email. You can upload a project and share it with just one person or a larger group in only a couple of clicks which makes the whole process much more convenient.
Cons
Every now and then, when uploading projects, it runs into an error on its end and makes you upload the files again.

“Clean UI”
Pros
Everything feels very simple to follow, with strong access control, a clean interface and convenient support for working with Github and Git commands.
Cons
One thing that can be frustrating is that when new changes are made, they can be harder to track down.

“powerful integrations”
Pros
Code versioning works really well and the Visual Studio Code integration makes development much more convenient. Private repositories, API access and the large community are also big advantages.
Cons
The only downside, in my opinion, is that the enterprise pricing could be more affordable.

“Secure deployments”
Pros
It is pretty simple to use. For our fairly simple source control and versioning needs, it handles everything that matters to us. Getting new people onboard is also quick and uncomplicated. Also, Github Actions has made our AWS deployments more efficient while adding another layer of security.
Cons
Some of the more advanced features aren't very transparent and can be a bit hard to figure out. The pricing also feels somewhat expensive.

“beginner-friendly with a huge userbase”
Pros
A big reason I enjoy using it is the large user base which makes the platform feel active and reliable. It's also very simple to use and especially welcoming for beginners so getting started doesn't take much effort.
Cons
One limitation that really stands out is the file size cap of only 25MB. It would be much better if that limit were raised to at least 250MB.

“feature packed tool”
Pros
Working with version control through pull and push requests is very simple, whether it's for an existing project or a brand-new one.
Cons
There are quite a few command-line commands to learn but they're not actually that difficult to get the hang of.

“Had a great experience”
Pros
I love how i can use it in different situations. It works well for learning, version control and even continuous integration. I also appreciate that there's a free option which gives you room to experiment, make changes to your repository and even create a repo without paying anything.
Cons
One concern is that if someone isn't very familiar with it and tries to publish a private repository, mistakes can happen. A repo can accidentally be switched to public which means other people may end up seeing the source code. That can lead to a data breach if the user is careless or doesn't manage security properly.

“powerful all-in-one tool”
Pros
A really powerful tool. It provides pretty much everything needed to build software successfully from start to finish. You get bug tracking and source version control all in one place which makes it very complete.
Cons
It can be difficult to grasp if you've never worked with a tool like this before. I remember needing a full day of training just to understand how to use it and that part definitely feels like it could be improved.

“helpful source code access”
Pros
There are a lot of project source codes available in my field which makes it much easier for me to manage my work and use them effectively. Because of that, this software has been really beneficial for me.
Cons
I don't really have anything to dislike about it. The only suggestion I'd make is to create a Windows software version so we can access it directly from there.

“Generous free tiers”
Pros
It feels very user-friendly while still packing a lot of features and the free tier is quite generous. It also brings together a lot of useful tools at a low cost, many of which you'd usually have to get from separate services.
Cons
The only part I'm not really a fan of is the interface since it feels a little outdated compared to modern standards.
