“Incredible platform for projects”

Pros

An excellent platform for managing projects and source code and it also makes it quicker to get help from developers around the world when you run into coding errors.

Cons

Does take a bit of training before you can really get comfortable using it for all kinds of professional work.

One of the biggest advantages is that several users can work on the same project at once and push their changes to the appropriate repository without issues.

Cons

The part I'm not a fan of is that the software can feel a bit complex to use and getting Git set up is somewhat difficult.

Getting the integration set up was a little tricky in the beginning but after I understood how it worked, everything was fine.

I liked it..It's fast, accurate and really helpful for programmers. It also feels brilliant for beginners who are just getting started.

The complex featues take some time to get comfortable with it since there are a lot of things to learn gradually over time.

Don't have anything to complain about with it. It's an excellent software to use.

Pros

Being able to connect it with other platforms is a big plus and I really appreciate how you can share code in the cloud and then access it from your desktop. Having multiple users work on the same code and keep improving it over time also makes team communication a lot better.

Cons

According to my observation.. it does require a strong understanding of coding to fully grasp everything the platform offers. It is not completely accessible to every type of user since it is fairly specific and getting the most out of it takes some learning and study which is not necessarily a bad thing.

It's very simple to use and the commands aren't complicated at all.

There isn't much I haven't liked,.. it's a really good tool.

After using it for years, it still hasn't let me down once. It feels like the most dependable code repository available and I really value how much you can tailor the workflow and organization to match the way you work. It's consistently there whenever I need it which says a lot. If you're looking for a reliable place to manage code, github is absolutely worth checking out.

I haven't run into any problems while using it. It has covered all my needs which is why I keep recommending it to others.

Pros

Comes with a lot of interesting and practical features. One of the biggest advantages is that projects can be stored and deployed in one centralized repository which makes access much more convenient for different team members. It also lets us manage repository permissions, helping prevent unauthorized actions. Also, it is useful for backing up data in case anything gets lost.

Cons

I didn't come across anything to dislike here. It's a highly recommended tool and works really well for anyone looking to develop, manage, track and integrate projects.

Pros

When it comes to storing and sharing code, this is the one platform I can really count on. It's widely used across the research community and almost every researcher relies on it to share their work.

Cons

Something that's missing is a way to verify how credible or trustworthy the uploaded work actually is.

Pros

Right from the start it has simply done exactly what we need without causing any issues. My entire team uses it every day and even the non-developers are actively working with it as part of their routine.

Cons

No complaints. Git can feel like a completely new way of working for some people on the team at first but once they get comfortable with it, they usually don't want to go back to any other workflow.

This application development tool makes it much simpler to keep track of source code, defects and bugs throughout development and even during upgrades.

It's a very capable development support tool with strong features and reliable support but some of those features can feel overwhelming if you're a novice programmer.

The Github documentation is really helpful and makes it easier for people to understand how things work. I also get a lot of value out of it when it comes to collaborating with others.

Can be difficult for beginners to use. When I was new to it, I couldn't really understand everything it was capable of. After using it repeatedly, I eventually got used to it.

Pros

Getting started was quick, it's free to use and it works really well with my IDE android Studio, along with LinkedIn Learning.

Cons

Only part that felt a bit confusing was using branches especially knowing how to save to the correct one. That could definitely be explained more clearly.

What I really appreciate is being able to quickly push my source code to it so my team members can access it without any hassle.

The only issue I ran into was having to change my login details several times for reasons that were never clear to me.

There's quite a bit of information to sort through but it's not too bad.

The code management, version control and integrations with other applications are really strong.

Pros

Everything feels well thought out. The interface makes working with Git really convenient and I can still jump into the CLI whenever I want. Having Jupyter Notebook available directly in the repo makes it even better so well done on that.

Cons

Nothing to complain about at this point. As a data scientist, I have everything I need to do my job properly especially when it comes to the machine learning engineering side.

“Project management made easy”

Pros

Between the project management features, strong security, free static hosting and a strong interface, this platform brings a lot to the table. It covers several important needs in one place and feels like a capable solution overall.

Cons

Learning curve is definitely steep and the desktop and mobile apps still feel far behind because they're missing a lot of functionality compared to what you'd expect.
