“responsive git collaboration”
Pros
Among the Git platforms out there, this is one of the most widely used for good reason. It's cloud-hosted, stays responsive and I've never run into any performance problems with it. The interface feels user-friendly and it works really well for team collaboration especially when it comes to PR reviews, comments and suggested corrections.
Cons
There really isn't much to complain about.

“made collaborations effortless”
Pros
It makes team collaboration and branch management much simpler with pull requests and issue tracking and the overall workflow feels very simple. Github Actions is also a big plus because it lets us automate code deployments which takes a lot of stress out of the release process and makes deployment much easier to handle.
Cons
A small issue with Github's pull requests is that they occasionally display more file changes than there actually are although it doesn't happen often and there are usually ways to work around it. Aside from that, everything has worked well.

“excellent for team code storage”
Pros
One of the best platforms for storing code and it lets team members work on the same project at the same time without running into conflicts.
Cons
After using it quite a lot for code storage, I really haven't come across any major downsides. It was very simple to pick up overall... the only slightly tricky part was understanding the UI for resolving conflicts but that was handled well in Desktop.

Pros
It has a very user-friendly interface and is simple to work with. As a software engineer, I especially enjoy using it when reviewing and merging PRs.
Cons
There's honestly very little to complain about, aside from the fact that git itself can be a bit complex.

“open source teamwork wins”
Pros
It's biggest strength for me is its open-source nature, plus the way several people can collaborate on the same code through pull requests.

One downside is that it doesn't feel fully secure for highly important code..

One of the best parts of Github is the Actions Marketplace and the platform itself is very simple to use. Everything feels accessible and simple to work with.

Pros
Working with the collaboration features lets our team handle the same project together and that has definitely improved our productivity. From a learning point of view, I usually choose it because the interface feels very user-friendly and approachable.
Cons

“top-tier tool!”
Pros
It's pretty much the standard platform for Git hosting in software engineering. The tooling and workflow options are excellent and there's usually plenty of support and documentation online whenever you need help.
Cons
It misses a few enterprise-level features and it has run into some security concerns, like the recent outage and exploits that allowed fake repo stars.
