A really capable cloud-based Git ALM platform with excellent usability. It feels polished and works well for managing development tasks in one place.

A few workflows can still be tricky to fully understand or configure at first.

“fantastic for code collaboration”
Pros
It does a really good job of helping track code changes, work with others and handle merge conflicts without too much hassle.
Cons
The con is that even though it hosts a huge number of open-source projects, the platform itself is proprietary which can be a drawback for people who prefer fully open-source tools.

“clean UI and great collaboration”
Pros
Right away, the interface felt well put together. Readmes are displayed clearly, issue tracking works really well and the issue templates make managing reports much simpler. Labels are useful too and pull request discussions have been working reliably for collaboration.
Cons
One thing I've noticed is that the pricing seems to have changed several times. When I first started my project, having a private repository was still a paid feature.

“Easy to learn”
Pros
As someone without a technical background, I can still move through the different folders in a repository without much trouble. It's also pretty clear where to go when I need to clone or download the content.
Cons
In dark mode some text isn't very visible.

“collaboration and version tracking win”
Pros
Working with colleagues is much simpler with this tool and it does a really good job of helping track changes.
Cons
There can definitely be a learning curve at the beginning. Since I don't use it very often, I still sometimes mix up pull and push and end up overwriting changes.

“great for open source”
Pros
It brings all the features you'd expect from a platform like this and its impact on the open-source community is a huge plus.
Cons
Honestly I'm happy with pretty much everything it offers. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be allowing more free collaborators on private repositories.

“Makes our collaborations easy”
Pros
Working with this platform feels really natural because it connects smoothly with Git for tracking code changes and makes teamwork much better through pull requests, code reviews and issue tracking. There is also a huge collection of open-source repositories to browse, learn from and contribute to. Managing projects is convenient too, with README files and project dashboards helping keep everything organized. Also, security features like Dependabot alerts and secret scanning add extra confidence in keeping code safe.
Cons
The free plan does come with a few limitations for private repositories when compared with paid options and its offline capabilities are not as strong as using local Git directly.

“Convenient for the whole team”
Pros
As a frontend engineer, the thing I appreciate most about it is that it gives users one place to manage Git repositories. It also makes it simple for our team to work together on the same project.
Cons
For people who are completely new to version control systems, It can come with a bit of a learning curve.

“Impressive Actions integration”
Pros
The biggest advantage is the power of Github Actions and how deeply they're built into the service. That tight integration makes the whole platform feel very capable and flexible.
Cons
One downside is that the Github Actions output isn't very polished and mostly appears as plain text. It's also quite easy to create jobs that aren't optimized well which can end up getting expensive.

“A user friendly tool!”
Pros
Collaboration works really well here and the version control feels smooth. It's also very user-friendly, whether you're working alone or with a team.
Cons
A frustrating part is the pricing which can feel a bit unclear because some features seem to be hidden behind the enterprise plan. At times, it's hard to tell exactly what's included and what isn't. That part is disappointing especially when basic features are blocked for no clear reason and you're pushed to upgrade.

“ideal option for collaborations”
Pros
It gives us strong version control through Git, makes it simple to collaborate with teammates, supports contributing to open-source projects and also offers hosting with Github Pages along with documentation features.
Cons
There are so many features to learn, it can overwhelm a beginner. Also, anyone wanting to host a site with Github Pages has to keep the repository public unless they upgrade to Github Pro.

“feature-packed”
Pros
Right away, it offers a ton of features, a really polished UI/UX and plenty of integrations that add a lot of value. CI/CD with Github Actions works eespecially well and having project management built directly into the repository is a big plus. The pricing is also quite reasonable for smaller projects and overall the platform feels very user friendly.
Cons
Once you start looking at bigger organizations, pricing becomes a major downside. The cloud costs can get expensive quickly and that's without even getting into the premium features. Project management in it is also pretty basic, with limited functionality although for simple or smaller projects it still does the job.

Pros
This year's UI refresh looks really good and the dark-mode-style design is something I really enjoy. It's also very beginner-friendly which makes the whole platform simple to use when you're just getting started.
Cons
The pricing plans are fairly standard but I still think they could be adjusted a bit to make the Pro features more accessible.
