Does a really good job of helping engineers and developers find what they need in their field.

The controls and the project publishing process are difficult to use so I hope they improve and develop that part further.

“Liked using it”

Pros

It feels like much more than a workspace, collaboration platform or source code repository when Copilot is part of the workflow. With Github Copilot acting like an AI pair programmer, it helps automate tasks, supports more meaningful agile development and honestly makes you feel like an X-Man. The mutants are here so the question is, are you one too?

Cons

This tool doesnt have a dedicated website, whether paid or free, for each repository. Right now, there's only a central site available through username.Github.io.

“flexible access across devices”

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about it is how omnichannel it is since I can use it on the web, in the app and through other platforms without any trouble.

Cons

Setting up it can be a bit time-consuming because the configuration needs a few additional libraries to be installed first.

Working with this software has been awesome and everything feels very smooth while using it.

I haven't run into any bugs at all and I genuinely love using it.

It made things really easy.. because working with a group is really effective as each member's contributions are clearly outlined in the project history.

Branch management can be a bit challenging for newcomers because of how much detailed tracking it includes.

“Easy to handle”

Pros

Out of all the source code management and version control tools I've worked with, it has been the best one for me. The integration with Visual Studio is excellent and being able to push changes directly from Visual Studio makes the workflow really convenient. Features like pull requests, adding reviewers or approvers and checking the history of code changes are all very useful. Its hassle-free integration with tools like Slack and Teams for PR approvals through webhooks is also incredibly handy. Cloning repositories from SCM to a local machine is simple as well.

Cons

Haven't run into any real issues with it. If someone already understands the features it provides, it's one of the best tools to have. The only people who might struggle a bit are complete beginners.

“Excellent tool”

Pros

I've been able to upload the code and files I need with this software and it's been really useful for my Blender design work since I've also downloaded some models from there.

Cons

One thing that still confuses me at times is downloading items because there isn't a download button and you actually just have to click on the file.

I really appreciate was how community-focused this platform feels and how accessible it is for everyone especially when working with teams and colleagues.

Cons

A small thing I'd still like to see is more customization so each area could have a bit more of its own identity and individual feel but it's a very minor issue overall.

Pros

Working on projects feels much lighter with this tool since writing, sharing, deploying, modifying and a lot more become pretty effortless throughout the whole process.

It's not the most beginner-friendly option though because you really need at least some knowledge of Git and Github before getting started with it.

Pros

Using the web interface feels very simple and setting up Github Actions CI tasks is simple thanks to the community templates available.

The Explore feature still needs improvement since discovering interesting and relevant new projects could be much better.

Pros

Worrying about losing my code used to be a real concern and it completely fixed that for me. Now I can store my code there without any hassle and working together with other users has also become much more convenient.

Cons

One thing that could make it even better is having a built-in default hosting management system for creating live sites, similar to Github Pages. That kind of addition would make the product feel even more valuable.

“reliable project collaboration”

Pros

Since I started using it earlier this year as a programmer, it has been really useful for saving and storing my work, collaborating on different projects and the platform is also very simple to understand.

Cons

What could be better is the token generation process. It would help if the token were added to the user profile automatically. Even though there's an option to choose how long the token stays active, users who are not very familiar with it might select no expiration and later lose the token after it has been generated.

Pros

Getting started with the product is fairly simple and there's a lot you can learn from using it as well.

Cons

Getting started is simple yess but the sheer amount of depth and available features can initially feel intimidating if you don't have a specific goal in mind.

“Friendly interface”

Pros

It gives you a full platform for managing repositories without having to stress over the technical side and the interface is really polished and pleasant to use. They also put real care into the iOS app and that attention to detail shows. Also, students can access the benefits of a Pro subscription at no cost which is a fantastic bonus.

Cons

It misses a stronger code navigation in the iOS app, along with the option to edit multiple files directly from both the app and the web interface without having to clone the repository.

“repository management done right”

Pros

Navigating repositories feels very simple and searching for other people doing related work, then giving them access, is simple to handle. Keeping up with issues and organizing everything with labels is also really convenient.

Cons

I'd like to see is some kind of repository grouping feature, unless I just haven't come across it yet. Pinning repositories helps but being able to group them by topic or language would be even better.

Pros

Uploads and data processing are quick and it also supports integrating data from multiple sources.

Cons

Does need an internet connection so using it depends on being online.

Pros

It comes with a lot of useful features and a few that really stand out to me are source code management, CI/CD through Github Actions, bug tracking within the codebase, code release management and Git flow management.

Cons

At times the CI/CD pipeline can take longer than expected to finish processing.

Pros

Being able to merge pull requests and create a patch branch before committing the pull request is really useful.

Cons

One thing I don't like is that the free plan doesn't let you keep the website source code private or keep the site running without upgrading.

Working with others feels really effortless on this platform which is something I genuinely appreciate.

I don't really have any complaints. If anything, pushing changes could be a bit more simple.
