“I like using it”
Pros
Using it has been a really positive experience for me. It works very well for personal use and it also makes it simple for multiple people to collaborate on the same project. Also, being able to explore other people's projects on GitHub is inspiring and pushes me to code more or even contribute to their work.
Cons
One thing it still lacks is a mobile app and dark mode is also missing.

“a dependable tool”
Pros
GitHub has been a secure, scalable and reliable platform for managing version control properly across all kinds of software and code. It also offers a wide range of capabilities along with strong security features.
Cons
Pricing could be more affordable compared with other tools on the market. The interface could also be more adaptive for users and the platform would benefit from adding more built-in features that many customers need instead of requiring custom APIs that can create workflow issues.

“opensource community boosts productivity”
Pros
I like how this tool has a lot going for it and I could honestly spend all day talking about the parts I enjoy while still feeling like I've only scratched the surface. One thing that really stands out is that it's an open-source platform with developers from all kinds of backgrounds and specialties. Because of that, it's simple to find example projects, learn from others and get more done.
Cons
The interface doesn't feel very adaptive when someone is just getting started.

“powerful free tier for development”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages of it is how much it includes in the free tier which is more than enough for small to mid-sized software development teams. I've been using it for version control and GitHub Actions has also worked really well for handling CI/CD.
Cons
Something that still feels missing is wiki support for public repositories. It would be much better if there were a way to create wiki pages for public repos too.

“Good version control for teams”
Pros
Version and source control have been the most valuable parts for us when it comes to managing the codebase. They let the team keep a clear record of every change happening in the repository which makes collaboration much easier. If something goes wrong later, we can roll back to an earlier state and also trace the full history of code changes to pinpoint the actual root cause of the issue.
Cons
The IDE is probably the least used feature for users right now. Accessing the cloud IDE is not as convenient compared with developing locally so most people prefer working in their local environment instead.

“unlimited private repos online”
Pros
Best part is that the free plan lets you keep unlimited private repositories which is really valuable. It also means your code is available online whenever you need access to it.
Cons
Interface can be hard to navigate at first. It's not very beginner-friendly although after using it for a while it starts to feel much more familiar and comfortable.

“useful team versioning”
Pros
Having version control built in, plus the ability for a team to work on the same project without problems, is a really strong idea.
Cons
Using the same command for every commit gets tedious fast and it can feel overly repetitive and confusing for new users even though once you get familiar with it, it stops being a major issue.

“powerful code management platform”
Pros
This has been the best platform I've used for source code management. It works well with different cloud providers and programming languages for handling CI/CD and GHE can be set up for all kinds of organizations and repositories. It's also simple to pick up and having support for both SAST and DAST is a big advantage.
Cons
A few features, along with capabilities on other online repository platforms, are only available through a SaaS subscription. That expense can climb pretty fast when you're working with a large team. If a company already has its own IT staff and internal servers, running an in-house git solution can make more financial sense although in most cases GitHub's pricing still isn't unreasonable.

“fantastic repository”
Pros
It has been one of the best platforms I've used for repository management. It offers really strong repository features and being able to keep working even without internet access is a huge help. A lot of major codebases are already hosted there, including projects from big companies like Google which says a lot about the platform. The fast response, quick code updates and helpful bug tracking features are what I appreciate most especially when working on team projects.
Cons
After the updates, the platform has become even more interesting and enjoyable to use. My only concern is that at times the access feels a bit too open so I think their team should focus more on securing user accounts and data privacy. Aside from that, it has been excellent software for teamwork and I would definitely recommend it to my friends as well.

“Excellent tool”
Pros
Version control is the biggest reason we rely on it. It makes it much easier to review every bit of code pushed into the repository and when something breaks in the application, you can trace the issue back to the exact code block causing it. I've worked with similar tools but GitHub feels noticeably more stable than most of the competition. It also comes across as a more mature platform overall especially since it's much easier to find answers and resources because the amount of search results is far larger when you need help with something.
Cons
I do wish GitHub Actions were improved quite a bit. I've used GitLab CI and it performs much better than its current setup. The GitHub interface could also use a lot of improvement.

“helpful support for business growth”
Pros
One thing that really helped was the customer support feature. It made it possible for me to get assistance when I needed it and also helped me grow my business. Also, it was very user-friendly and simple to navigate.
Cons
The only part that felt off to me was the software theme since it comes across as a bit awkward. I'd really like to see some improvements there. Other than that, everything else seems fine to me,keep it up.

“reliable downloads and useful features”
Pros
I've come back to this software many times and it has consistently delivered without letting me down. The website is pretty simple to move around and there are plenty of features that make it easier to find and access the files you want to download. Also, the downloading process itself is simple and hassle-free which makes the whole experience even better.
Cons
There were moments when uploading my own files was a bit troublesome although after a few tries I was able to get them uploaded. It can also be hard to figure out which file type you actually need since users upload so many different files in different formats but that's not really something I would blame it for.

“It fits right into dev work”
Pros
Getting it connected to our development setup took barely any adjustment. We build Android mobile apps so a lot of GitHub's functionality was already available right inside the IDE we were using. On the web side, GitHub Desktop made it really simple to review changes and push commits without any hassle.
Cons
Because it is built around git commands some features are basically impossible to handle unless you know your way around the command line. It's not a huge problem since most of the commands are well documented online but you'll probably still run into a few awkward terminal moments especially when you need to roll back changes.
