“time-saver for us”

Pros

Having everything in one place is the biggest advantage of this tool. It delivers a full DevOps platform where our teams can handle the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and source code management to continuous integration, deployment, monitoring and security. That level of integration saves a lot of time, boosts productivity and makes collaboration much simpler so developers can spend more time focused on building quality code.

Cons

Initial experience can be a bit overwhelming because the interface has a lot going on especially for beginners trying to find their way around all the features and functions. That said the platform offers extensive documentation and support resources to help users ramp up and use it effectively. In a way, that complexity also reflects how much capability it includes which is exactly why it remains such an important tool for development teams.

From what I've seen it is an excellent platform for developers who want to manage their projects efficiently thanks to its strong feature set and simple interface.

Sometimes it feels a little slow and complex which can be frustrating when we are trying to keep project management efficient.

There's a wide range of features and capabilities here. It really supports our code in areas like security, version control, permissions and more.

New developers may find it a bit complicated when getting started because there are so many options to navigate. Once you go through some training though this issue pretty much goes away.

I find it easy to use and I can create unlimited public repositories. It works well for CI/CD and DevOps workflows. I can also easily push and pull code using the command line and integration with third-party tools is simple.

The license version is too expensive. The advanced features are locked in the free version and storage space can also become an issue.

It is simple to use and configure and I can manage tasks and source code without difficulty. The UI is good and supports integration with almost any third-party tool. I can create multiple repositories easily, push and pull code from the command line and also track issues without problems.

Cons

License cost for certain versions is on the expensive side and aside from the pricing, I really don't have any complaints about it.

Having a tool like this makes it much easier to keep code backed up and organized. The interface is pleasant to use, collaborating with other developers feels easy and tracking code changes is very convenient.

It goes well beyond basic code versioning and includes a lot of useful features especially for setting up CI/CD and automating different parts of the code lifecycle.

There is a bit of a learning needed at the beginning and if this is your first versioning tool it takes some practice to use it correctly.

Having it as an all-in-one platform is a big advantage. It brings together strong project management tools, great version control and flexible CI/CD features in one place. That setup helps development teams work more efficiently, stay organized with projects and automate a lot of the workflow. In the end it supports higher productivity, better code quality and a faster path to release.

Cons

It can be a bit challenging especially for beginners because they may need some practice initially. Some of the more advanced features also feel fairly complex and performance can occasionally be inconsistent. Even with that, the documentation is detailed and the user community is helpful so it's possible to work through those issues. Overall the advantages still tend to outweigh these smaller drawbacks.

Pros

Working with this tool has made my development workflow much more convenient. I can clone source code, create feature branches, open merge requests and connect everything with CI/CD tools like Jenkins without much struggle. The interface is polished and user-friendly. I also appreciate being able to compare code across branches and resolve merge conflicts directly in the UI instead of switching back to the IDE. On top of that, the code check-in history dashboard is a really useful feature.

Cons

This is an amazing tool but there are times when outages happen and that makes it hard to continue important development work such as merging code or running build pipelines.

It comes with a very rich set of features, covering everything from CI/CD pipelines and project management to testing and security. It also promotes a strong culture of collaboration and transparency by bringing code reviews, merge requests and issue tracking into one place which helps improve both development quality and delivery speed.

It's weaker sides are its performance and stability issues, an interface that can feel overloaded and the high cost of on-premise deployments.

This is very user-friendly and offered a lot more than just basic Git control. One feature that has been especially helpful is the wiki since it lets us create and manage documentation in the same place.

Cons

The biggest downside is the price, as it is quite expensive compared with other Git providers. GitHub is also closing the gap quickly with all the new features Microsoft has been investing in.

“pleasure to use”

Pros

It has been my go-to for managing the source code of a couple of projects. It is quick and easy to use especially for the basic features which don't take much effort to pick up. The more advanced tools do require a bit of learning but that's expected. Creating branches, merging them, adding comments at the same time and searching through old commits are all simple and fast which makes day-to-day work much more convenient.

Cons

It has been consistently helping me manage my source code better without causing any issues and I haven't run into any problems with it.
