“Very user-friendly tool”

Pros

After it is configured, there are so many features available it can almost feel overwhelming in a good way. The interface is very simple which makes it really user-friendly. Even employees on our team who are not developers were able to start using it after just a little guidance. We also appreciate that it works in the cloud. That should be standard but a lot of competing tools still do not offer proper cloud access.

Cons

Getting everything up and running was a bit difficult for our junior devs. We needed one of our senior developers to handle the setup before we could really take full advantage of the software. The pricing is high for this kind of tool even considering the number of features included.

Pros

With everything it brings to the table, it really feels like a tool companies should be moving to right away. If you're not already using it, you're probably leaving money on the table. Between the feature set and ease of use, it covers just about everything. I honestly can't say enough good things about it because the product is incredible.

Cons

After working with it for months, I haven't run into any major issues. If I had to point out one thing that could be improved, it would be the documentation for first-time users. That said once you spend a little time with it, the software becomes very simple to understand.

Having private repositories included on the free plan has been really useful for my personal projects.

“Affordable and impressive tool”

Pros

Compared to other options in the market, this is a very affordable tool. The code review, bug tracking and issue management features were genuinely impressive and the interface gives a lot more flexibility than many other Git applications.

Cons

Since it's still a relatively new major player in the market, there's a bit of hesitation about moving all our existing GitHub projects over to it.

“Clear project layout”

Pros

The way projects are organized is very clear which makes everything easier to follow. Setup is quick and using it day to day feels is easy. It also does a good job of supporting the entire DevOps lifecycle which is a big plus.

Cons

Branch search still does not work properly which can be frustrating. I have also noticed that some file changes are not displayed correctly so reviewers could end up missing important updates.

Pros

It comes with a ton of features and it brings different tools together in one platform which makes it really useful.

Cons

There's definitely some time required to get used to it and setting it up by yourself can be pretty challenging. The price is also on the high side.

There's already a huge range of functions here and it covers what I need in my work as a software developer.

The part that still needs a lot of work is the user interface and overall user experience. When I first started using the file versioning feature, it was confusing enough that I got lost.

“Version control that catches conflicts”

Pros

Working on the same projects as a team is much more manageable with this version control tool. It helps us spot when there's a conflict in a file so we can resolve it before pushing anything to the master branch.

Cons

I have no regrets about using this product because it saves us a lot of time and helps keep errors out of our project.

The project management features and boards are especially useful.

Cons

Getting started with the pipeline was a bit challenging but it's still really interesting.
