“Active community support”
Pros
Source code repository and version control system has been very reliable especially when connected to CI/CD pipelines for software delivery. One thing that really helps is being able to edit files directly from the web interface without cloning or downloading the whole repository first. The installation and configuration process is easy and the fact that it is free while also including a built-in CI tool makes it even more valuable. On top of that, the community support is active and it also makes it possible to run parallel tests for branches and pull requests which is very useful during development.
Cons
Few limitations still stand out. For every job, artefacts have to be manually defined and then uploaded or downloaded which adds extra work. It also only supports Unix-based operating systems so there is no support for Windows or macOS. Another issue is that Excel files stored in, it do not display with proper formatting when opened in the browser. Large files can also be a problem since not all of them are supported and they may lead to errors or slow down the application.

“powerful collaborations”
Pros
It works as a code repository that is simple to learn and easy to use. It makes working across multiple branches much easier and sharing branches with others doesn't take much efforts. It also connects well with other tools. It offers free private and public repositories which has been very useful for my work. It helps a lot by bringing together many features like code testing, deployment and management in one place. The platform is very approachable for new users and it also allows multiple people to collaborate on a single project by sharing code efficiently.
Cons
I'm happy with the product and their team as well as community have been helpful whenever I've had questions. I really enjoy using it but there are times when it feels a bit slow especially when the web app takes longer than expected to load pages even on good servers.

“Off-grid self hosting win”
Pros
Being able to self-host our own instance was essential for us so we could keep everything completely off grid and it handled that really well.
Cons
Getting it set up is a bit obscure and the updates can take quite a while since we are not able to apply them as often as the project really expects.

“effortless code sharing between teams”
Pros
Sharing source code between team members has been really convenient with this tool. It also makes it simple to keep track of each task's status and see the commits made by every developer. The collaboration features are useful and being able to link issues with project modules helps everything stay connected as one complete system.
Cons
It is a bit pricey and there are a lot of commands to learn before it starts feeling comfortable to use.

“top-notch software”
Pros
Using this tool has helped me take advantage of Git features to manage and test different versions of my application while working together with other developers. On top of that it includes a wiki where we can add documentation and share more detailed information about the project.
Cons
It's an excellent tool overall but its community is still smaller than GitHub's.

“smooth DevOps”
Pros
It makes adopting DevOps much more practical by bringing project management source code management and code security together in a single platform. It also includes shift-left security features for code quality, code security, infrastructure-as-code scanning, SAST and DAST, depending on the license which makes setting up a DevOps platform much simpler.
Cons
Even though the pricing feels reasonable especially for startups that want to build DevOps into their process from the beginning, there are still other tools out there that can be put together to deliver similar results.

“smart choice for the corporate sector”
Pros
This works well for corporate companies since it's an open-source code repository that's widely used for code development and management.
Cons
This tool doesn't really give us options for different authentication apps and the UI can feel a bit slow at times, along with the overall response speed.

“free private repos and built-in pipelines”
Pros
I really appreciate about it is that it gives you private repositories at no cost. Its open-source pricing model also adds confidence around the security and privacy of the projects. On top of that it comes with a built-in tool for managing and installing project pipelines which is very useful.
Cons
Interface becomes a bit slow at times mostly because of the many integration tools so it ends up being slightly less responsive than some other available platforms. Upgrades can also be tricky since they affect multiple features and that can delay project completion. There are also a few real-time situations this technology still does not handle well.

“collaboration that keeps teams aligned”
Pros
Working across large collaborations around the world really only works well when there is a reliable system that supports teamwork across distance and time zones. It offers a well-built environment for developing software together and it makes it possible to consistently track changes that have been pushed to the code. The interface is user-friendly and it also supports communication along with sync option so nobody misses important updates.
Cons
Getting familiar with all the features can take some time if you are completely new to the software and there are still certain features that have not been added yet.

Pros
Adding a registration key gives the platform an extra layer of security which is something I really appreciate. Moving through the different tabs also feels easy and well organized.

The pricing could be a little more affordable. If other tools are available at the same price point, users may not have much reason to stay with this one.
