“No efforts needed for calendar integration”
Pros
This tooltakes almost no effort to get start and the integration with Google Calendar makes scheduling and joining meetings really convenient. It handles meetings reliably and managing files during calls works well too.
Cons
The background customization and participant management features feel a bit limited compared to some other platforms. The translation feature is also somewhat confusing to use.

“proven great option for us”
Pros
Ithas been a really great option for video calls. The fact that meetings can go on without a time limit is incredibly helpful. During COVID, it was the platform our team relied on most for staying connected through video chats.
Cons
There were times whenitwouldn't work properly if someone didn't have a Gmail account. That became a real obstacle when we were trying to meet with our students parents during the school day.

“creating links is not a problem”
Pros
Creating meeting links is really easy, whether the people joining have Google accounts or not. That makes working together with others much more hassle free.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is a better way to attach specific documents, presentations and other external files directly to meetings since that would make collaboration even more convenient.

“screen sharing made simple”
Pros
Google Meethas been dependable for web and video conferencing. Getting it set up and rolled out was easy too and it lets us collaborate and run online meetings without any hassle. The real-time screen sharing works well and it also connects nicely with other systems we use.
Cons
Honestly almost everything aboutitworks really well. The only thing missing is a stronger set of advanced features especially options like virtual backgrounds and customizable meeting layouts.

“More affordable than others”
Pros
Keeping in touch with clients is much more effective withthis platform. It lets us set up meetings with management whenever we need to discuss business-related matters. On top of that it's more affordable than many other platforms which makes it a very practical and convenient choice overall.
Cons
Across my entire career, this has honestly been the most complete platform I have used. I can see why so many businesses chooseitover other options because everything works properly and does exactly whatit's meant to do. I genuinely don't have any negative feedback aboutit.

“replaced Zoom for better”
Pros
After relying on Zoom during the pandemic, we started looking for a more affordable option with fewer limitations.Google Meethas been free for everything we need and it's very simple to use.
Cons
Compared with other online meeting platforms, itcomes with fewer meeting features anditcan be difficult to view a large number of participants at once.

Pros
Itkeeps things simple and dependable. There is no complicated setup and no constant glitches so joining a meeting is quick and you can pay attention to the conversation instead of dealing with technical issues.
Cons
There is not much to complain about thoughitwould be even better with more advanced features and additional customization options.

Pros
For years, I have usedGoogle Meetto stay in touch with my family and it has worked really well especially for a free service. I have consistently been happy with it.
Cons
Ithas generally been dependable for me. There was one time whenitdropped in the middle of a video chat but aside from that, ithas been perfectly fine.

“Fits perfectly in the workspace”
Pros
One thing that really works well withthis softwareis how well it fits into G Suite Workspace. The interface is user friendly, the security is excellent and it's accessible across all the major browsers which makes it very convenient to use.
Cons
Compared with Zoom Workplace, itcomes with fewer features and some users also mention the time limit on free group calls as a downside.

“works better than expected”
Pros
HonestlyGoogle Meetjust works better overall. The interface has a more casual vibe which can make it feel a little less professional than Teams but the actual functionality is much better. There are hardly ever any glitches and admitting people into meetings is almost always hassle-free.
Cons
The only real downside is that the interface looks a bit less professional but aside from that, itoutperforms Microsoft Teams in pretty much every other way.

“no downloads or extra steps needed”
Pros
The platformhas been a dependable and user friendly video conferencing tool for me. The layout is clean, user friendly and simple to navigate. I also like that there is no need to download any extra apps and it works nicely with other Google services. Features like screen sharing, live captions, plus the fun filters and background options make it even better to use.
Cons
A few limitations do stand out though. Recording and some other features, such as longer meeting access without time limits, are locked behind a paid plan. Screen sharing can also be a bit buggy at times, with freezing issues or certain restrictions. And when stacked against platforms like Zoom, itoffers fewer AI-powered tools and weaker customization options especially for things like whiteboards and polls.

Cons
There can be occasional compatibility issues with certain security settings or firewalls but overallit's still very accessible and simple to use. Other than that, I really don't have any complaints.
