no lags and easy to use

Pros

Because it's built right into Google Calendar, scheduling and joining meetings is very convenient. In short it is genuinely easy to use and does exactly what I need for regular calls. It usually works without much lag so conversations feel more natural. The interface is also clean, simple and nice to look at so there is no learning curve. On top of that it's free which makes it a very practical choice for everyday meetings.

Cons

The microphone can be unreliable at times, with random connection problems that get frustrating and sometimes force me to use headphones. Plus every now and then the only way to getitworking again is to restart the computer which is pretty annoying.

Syncs well with google calendar

Pros

Using it is not a problem and it syncs really well with my calendar. Since most people already use it, coordinating meetings and sharing links with others is very easy too.

Cons

What I do not like is how the details look in the confirmation email. I feel like it could be formatted better so it's easier to read and find information quickly.

Pros

Google Meet fits perfectly into the Google ecosystem and the way it syncs with Google Calendar is absolutely amazing.

Cons

It's not a major issue and itmight just be me but I feel like real time screen and file sharing isn't always the simplest or most easy to use.

Easy join from gmail calendar

Pros

Jumping into meetings is really easy especially when you're already in Gmail or Calendar. Joining is rarely a problem for anyone which makes a big difference. Also it is dependable overall, with great video and audio quality most of the time. Screen sharing is simple and works the way you need it to without any hassle.

Cons

To me itdoes feel a little basic compared with some other platforms. The backgrounds and customization options aren't all that strong and participant management can get a bit awkward when you're hosting a larger meeting.

works great overall

Pros

It is perfect since there is nothing to install and it works really well with Google Workspace. Overall it is user friendly and stays stable through most meetings.

Cons

Compared with some other platforms, the feature set feels a bit limited. Call quality can drop on weaker internet connections and the admin controls are fairly basic.

Simplest and clean interface

Pros

Google Meet is the simplest video conferencing software I have used and the interface is also very clean and user friendly.

Cons

One thing that's missing is the ability to find a history of documents shared during a meeting.Itwould also be useful to have access to past conversation history.

Connects us with global students

Pros

Running virtual interviews with students across the globe has been a huge help for our admissions office. We often need to connect with out of town applicants and this tool makes that possible without dealing with long phone calls or the time and expense of travel. Also it is simple to update and adjust meeting times which makes coordinating around everyone's schedules much more convenient.

Cons

Honestly I haven't run into anything that feels unfriendly or difficult to use. I have been very happy with how manageable and user friendly itis.

Pros

It is part of my daily routine at work and it's been very user friendly overall. One thing I really like is how simple it is to set up and schedule meetings.

Strong google workspace

Pros

The simplicity and strong connection with Google Workspace make Google Meet very easy to use. Joining and managing meetings and working with others, is also easy and efficient. We used it every day for clocking in and out and it was also very useful for getting attendance reports after each meeting.

Cons

At times the audio or video quality drops especially during larger meetings or when the internet connection is slow. When that happens, itcan disrupt the flow of the discussion.

one click access makes it best

Pros

Joining meetings is really easy with Google Meet. There is no need to download anything, the one click access is also convenient and the minimalist interface makes it very user friendly overall. It's simple to use which makes the whole experience really nice.

i like that no signup is needed

Pros

It works really well because it's so universal. I can send a meeting link to a client quickly and they can join without signing up or dealing with anything complicated. The blurred background and other enhancement features are also a nice touch and make calls feel more polished.

Cons

One issue I have run into withitis the audio cutting out during calls.Ithas forced me to end meetings and reconnect more than once which is especially frustrating when I am in professional meetings with clients.

Pros

Joining or hosting meetings with it is pretty easy and the integration with Gmail and Google Calendar makes scheduling and access really convenient. Also the video and audio quality stays stable, screen sharing is simple during presentations and it works very well right in the browser without needing to install anything.

No app updates required

Pros

Because it runs right from the browser, it's very easy to use especially since I never have to wait for an app update before joining a meeting. The whole experience is good and the controls are simple without being cluttered. When connected to a Google Workspace subscription, there are also many useful options for managing what gets shared during meetings.

Cons

Host controls still feel a bit more limited than what some other online meeting platforms offer. There is also no built in way to remotely control another participant's screen which can be a drawback.Italso works best when you have multiple monitors although if that setup is available, itfits really well.

Visual effects improve poor lighting

Pros

The background options and visual effects are a big plus for me. It keeps me centered on screen and brightens my face when the room lighting is poor which is really useful since I do not always have the best setup. Signing in is also very convenient, whether I am joining from my laptop or my phone, even for last-minute meetings. I also appreciate the screen-sharing features and I have used them before to record presentations.

Cons

One downside is thatittends to overheat my laptop. I suspect the picture-in-picture feature may be causingit but I do not want to turn that off becauseitis very convenient for handling other tasks during a meeting while still following what everyone else is saying and doing. Another issue is that not all external attachments work withit and there is not much troubleshooting support available. I also tried using Guul with friends butitdid not work.

joining meeting is easy now

Pros

Being free and easy to use is a big plus and the direct connection with Google Calendar makes scheduling and joining meetings really convenient. Call quality stays consistently high, whether it's for regular meetings, presentations or bringing in guests. I also rarely run into bugs or technical problems that affect the overall call experience.

Pros

It is lightweight, user friendly and simple to work with. We rely on it every day and it's become an essential part of how we get things done alongside Google and the rest of its suite of products.

Pros

Recording meetings and pulling up those recordings later is pretty easy. It's especially useful that Google Meet connects with Google Drive so saving meetings there happens without any hassle.

Widely available which is great

Pros

It has been a really great option for video calls and meetings because it's widely available and doesn't require installing any extra software. The built-in features, like custom and blurred backgrounds, are especially useful when you want to clean up what others see behind you. Setting up a meeting and inviting people, whether they're part of your organization or outside of it, is very easy. Since most users already know their way around Google products, getting started with Google Meet takes almost no time at all.

Cons

There honestly isn't much to complain about withit. If I had to point out one downside, itwould be that runningitin Google Chrome can use a lot of system resources and sometimes lead to lag especially if your internet upload or download speeds aren't very strong. That seems to be a fairly common issue with web-based Google services in general since they tend to consume quite a bit of RAM.

noise cancellation is great

Pros

Daily standups and architecture reviews are much better to do with this. As screen sharing is easy so pulling up cloud console logs during a call takes no effort. The calendar integration is also very handy as joining meetings is basically one click. On top of that the background noise cancellation makes a big difference when I am working from a noisy cafe.

Cons

I still run into one issue that is the screen sharing can make my laptop slow down and heat up quite a bit. When my internet connection starts fluctuating, the audio tends to break up badly. Sending large log files through the chat also isn't very practical and during longer meetingsitdrains a lot of battery from my laptop.

every now and then I run into an issue getting my audio connected in meetings butit's usually a minor problem and pretty simple to fix. Aside from that, I don't have many complaints.

screen sharing made simple

Pros

Google Meethas been dependable for web and video conferencing. Getting it set up and rolled out was easy too and it lets us collaborate and run online meetings without any hassle. The real-time screen sharing works well and it also connects nicely with other systems we use.

Cons

Honestly almost everything aboutitworks really well. The only thing missing is a stronger set of advanced features especially options like virtual backgrounds and customizable meeting layouts.

More affordable than others

Pros

Keeping in touch with clients is much more effective withthis platform. It lets us set up meetings with management whenever we need to discuss business-related matters. On top of that it's more affordable than many other platforms which makes it a very practical and convenient choice overall.

Cons

Across my entire career, this has honestly been the most complete platform I have used. I can see why so many businesses chooseitover other options because everything works properly and does exactly whatit's meant to do. I genuinely don't have any negative feedback aboutit.

Cons

Compared with other online meeting platforms, itcomes with fewer meeting features anditcan be difficult to view a large number of participants at once.

Pros

Itkeeps things simple and dependable. There is no complicated setup and no constant glitches so joining a meeting is quick and you can pay attention to the conversation instead of dealing with technical issues.
