Google Meet is a video-conferencing platform included as a part of G Suite. It is designed for professional use and is suitable for businesses of all sizes. This communication software is the business-oriented version of Google’s Hangouts platform. Google Meet allows users to make video calls with up to 30 users at a time and ensures high-quality video meetings. However, the dial-in number feature is limited to the G Suite enterprise edition customers only. Users who subscribe to higher Google Meet membership tiers can join a call with up to 50 or 100 people. Real-time captions powered by Google's speech-to-text technology are also supported. The application additionally offers ease of accessibility, just sharing a single link can bring anyone to join from mobile or desktop. Not only this, but their integration with Calendar also ensures easy scheduling and enables users to have calendar attachments from their Meet video call.

“essential tool we use daily !”

Pros

It is lightweight, user friendly and simple to work with. We rely on it every day and it's become an essential part of how we get things done alongside Google and the rest of its suite of products.

Cons

What I would like to see improved is having the Add Google Meet button appear automatically in Google Calendar. It would also help if the Record With Gemini feature could start on its own by default.

“joining meeting is easy now”

Pros

Being free and easy to use is a big plus and the direct connection with Google Calendar makes scheduling and joining meetings really convenient. Call quality stays consistently high, whether it's for regular meetings, presentations or bringing in guests. I also rarely run into bugs or technical problems that affect the overall call experience.

Cons

Participant management can be a bit more challenging in mid-sized meetings. I'd love to see more flexibility and added features to make handling attendees easier in those situations.

“pretty easy to setup”

Pros

Setting up meetings is simple and sharing them is just as easy. Plus Google Meet lets me schedule meetings and send the link by email or even through WhatsApp.

Cons

Honestly�it�offers a lot for a free tool and there are no real participant limitations, plus sharing is very convenient. sp no cons to share at all for now to be honest.
