By using this software for a while, we have been able to gain significantly better visibility into our project, system, portfolio, and resource data thanks to Mavenlinks fast reporting features. Due to this reason, we have been able to set or adjust our KPIs and KRIs and use the data at our disposal to make better business decisions.

Now, there are some things we would love to see an improvement in. When accepting or rejecting timesheets, it would be preferable to add a comment to a specific entry rather than broadcasting the comment to all entries.There are only a few minor issues we experience with some functionality.

Mavenlink helps us stay on schedule thanks to the Time Monitoring module, which allots team members the necessary time to accomplish tasks and sends email reminders for the tasks beginning and ending dates. It has really helped raise our business productivity and has helped with complicated work plans. I really enjoyed Mavenlinks team connectivity, time tracking system, front-end design, and interface with other software products.

Cons

Although it has many benefits, there are also some drawbacks. Refreshing occurs totally randomly, which almost guarantees that you lose the data that wasn’t autosaved. And it is really not made for small businesses since the cost is just too high.

It has completely changed the way we used to work. Mavenlinks best feature, which completely won us over, is the real-time budget view against time monitoring and progress.

We have been enjoying Mavenlink so far, but if I were to pick one bad thing, its that the comments get lost when a project lasts for more than a month or so. Also, checking items off checklists would be a nice feature.

It is kind of annoying that your personal dashboard cannot be customized or filtered. It would be useful if you wanted to read comments or postings on particular themes, tasks, projects, people, etc.

It is so easy to use that Id recommend it to anyone, even those with zero experience with PM software.

Cons

Customer support is okay, but self-help resources are straight-up bad. They almost never helped me find a technical solution to a problem on my own. I have to rely on customer support for the smallest of issues, which is annoying.

I havent been able to customize the personal dashboard or even filter it, which would be useful if you wanted to read comments or postings on particular tasks or projects. Also, Id like it if the activity stream only showed me posts and categories that were relevant to me, not just any post that anyone made for any project.
