“Amazing page publishing feature”

Pros

I'm really into it and the features I use the most are publishing a Notion page as a website, sharing it and inviting a collaborator with specific permissions.

Cons

Using it does come with a couple annoyances especially around version history, it's helpful but it can feel a little less useful since it seems to save changes about every 30 minutes.

“Visually attractive”

Pros

I enjoy how it looks and feels. It's flexible and lets each person use it their own way. Users can take advantage of free templates or even create their own but the best setup is when everything is organized as linked pages tied to a database.

Cons

Thankfully there's a Windows app because the website runs slowly and doesn't make it pleasant to switch between multiple tabs. The feature I rely on a lot is pinning pages and that part highlights how much I need the app-side performance.

“Helps me organize my thoughts”

Pros

Dealing with bad ADHD, this app helps me organize my thoughts really effectively and it keeps me set up for success at every step of the process.

Cons

it costs money. I'm not claiming it's not worth paying for but having a free lite version would be ideal.

“Helpful templates gallery”

Pros

We've been using it for about a year now to handle our client accounts and internal documentation. With a small team, it's been a huge help to keep everything in one place instead of bouncing between Google Docs, Trello and spreadsheets. The flexibility is honestly the standout, I set up a lightweight CRM-style database to track client accounts, connected it to meeting notes and created templates for weekly reports without getting IT involved or paying for yet another tool. Real-time collaboration on the same page has also cut down a lot of the back-and-forth email chains. On top of that, the templates gallery gave us a reliable starting point so we weren't building our whole workflow from scratch.

Cons

There's definitely a learning curve. The first time I opened Notion, I didn't really know what to do and the blank-canvas approach that sounds great on paper can feel overwhelming when you're trying to move fast. I also notice it can feel a bit sluggish sometimes, particularly on pages with embedded databases. Finally, the mobile app still feels behind. I mainly avoid it because navigating on my phone feels complex compared with the desktop experience.

“Superb for taking notes”

I've been using it for taking notes, tracking tasks and planning projects and it works really well since everything lives in one place. I can create pages and set up workflows in whatever way fits my process which makes it feel flexible rather than restrictive.

Cons

When pages get really big or packed with content, the app can start feeling sluggish. Also, offline support is pretty limited if you need to work without an internet connection.

“Makes it easy to manage data”

Pros

Using it, I can connect references, embed spreadsheets and keep the context of my ideas consistent across long projects. It also makes it simple to manage related data without scattering everything across a bunch of separate files or apps.

Cons

In bigger workspaces, newly created notes don't always show up in search results so I end up browsing through pages manually. Also, when I export structured data to external tools some relationships between linked databases don't carry over.

“Notion centralizes knowledge beautifully”

Pros

We'd been looking for a place to centralize all of the team's internal knowledge without it turning into a messy catch-all. Notion truly solves that. The flexibility to organize information in the way that fits you-using databases, documents, tables and different views-lets you build a workspace that matches how your team actually works, instead of forcing people to adapt to the tool. Editing feels comfortable, linking pages to each other is very natural and when a new person joins the team, having everything already structured there makes a huge difference.

Cons

Getting started takes a bit of effort at first-if you don't dedicate time to setting up the spaces properly from the beginning, it can get chaotic pretty quickly. The internal search can be unreliable once there's a lot of content piled up. Integrations with other tools are useful but in some cases they feel unfinished or only partially implemented.

It has turned into a daily hub for keeping my thoughts, notes and team wikis all in one place. The biggest thing I appreciate is how endlessly flexible it is. You start from a blank page and the block system lets you build exactly the kind of workspace you want whether that's tracking tables, interconnected databases, task lists or even meeting minutes. Everything looks clean and modern and it feels genuinely pleasant to use. I also really value how easily you can link pages together which makes it possible to create a real knowledge network across different projects.

Cons

That same level of freedom can also be the downside. Jumping in at the beginning felt a bit daunting because you're staring at a blank canvas with no structure. If you don't already know what you're aiming to build, it's easy to burn hours crafting complex templates instead of getting real work done. Also, the built-in task management still feels somewhat light, reminders and notifications aren't as polished or user-friendly as what you'd get from purpose-built task apps. Lastly, the mobile app can be a little sluggish to load when a page has lots of data.

The centralized workspace is excellent, the databases are highly customizable and the team collaboration tools work together smoothly. Overall, it makes project management feel a lot more organized because everything stays organized in one place while still giving you flexibility to structure things your way.

Cons

There is a bit of a steep learning curve for new users especially when they're trying to set up complex workflows or build advanced database relationships right from the start.

Flexibility feels totally unrestricted here. I can attach a meeting note straight to a task and that task can be connected to a specific client file. Also, the block-based writing experience is genuinely fun, it makes it easy to build polished, well-structured internal wikis without everything turning into a jumble.

Cons

The trade-off is the classic blank-page syndrome. Since it can handle basically anything, it doesn't really provide an "out of the box" setup that fits every use case. I ended up spending hours creating my own templates. Also, if you're doing simple project management that relies on strict Gantt charts or you're working with teams larger than 20 people, it can get messy fast unless everyone follows the system exactly.

It really feels like a complete tool for me, it lets me keep my notes, projects and other information all in one place. Since I started using it, it's become a key, practically indispensable part of my day-to-day workflow.

Cons

Depending on what I need at the moment, Notion still ends up being the best option. I especially appreciate the built-in artificial intelligence feature since it can translate text into English when I need it.

Cons

Even though it is powerful, a few of the advanced features can take some time to learn-especially when you're building more complex databases and automations. With larger workspaces, performance can occasionally dip and some features involve workarounds that aren't always obvious. Offline support also needs improvement, having stronger offline functionality would be really helpful.

I've used it for bigger projects and also for everyday tasks and it's been fantastic. As an office administrator, I mainly rely on it for team task lists and for keeping track of vendor follow-up activities. The dashboard really helps with prioritizing and getting a clear visual on upcoming deadlines. It adapts well to how different departments in our organization operate like procedures and logistics.

Cons

Getting the hang of it took a bit of time for team members who aren't very tech-friendly. There are a lot of features (which is a good thing) but it can feel overwhelming at the start. I also wish there were a few more ready-made templates for specific industries like Oil & Energy so it's easier to get set up.

It works really well for me because it's simple to use and the dashboard helps me stay organized. As a small business owner, I also appreciate being able to track exactly what I'm doing without a lot of extra effort.

Cons

Nothing is truly bad about it though I do wish there were a built-in template option specifically for a daily to-do list so it would be easier to customize it to my own preferences.

Cons

I do wish the offline experience were stronger. Notion works well when I'm online but trying to access information without a stable connection can be pretty annoying. The mobile app helps yet it sometimes feels slower and a bit less user-friendly compared to the desktop version.

My favorite part is how many different tools and features it bundles into one platform. It handles note-taking, task management and project tracking side by side so everything stays in the same place.

Cons

On the flip side, I think it would be even better with deeper integrations with other apps. A more connected ecosystem-where it plays nicely with a wider range of tools, would help cut down on constantly switching between separate, dedicated applications.

I'm using it to track my daily work tasks, meeting notes and project plans. What really works for me is how customizable it is, I can shape it to match the way I personally organize things. I also like having everything in one place, whether that's task lists, databases or notes, without needing to jump between different tools.

Cons

Occasionally it gets a bit slow once some pages get really large. Also, with all the features and templates available, the initial setup can feel like a lot to take in.

“Version history is also a lifesaver”

Pros

I really enjoy publishing my Notion pages to the web. With a custom web domain, I can take a basic database and turn it into a proper blog. The version history is also a lifesaver, I can quickly track down sections of my articles when something gets deleted by accident.

Cons

It rolled out Super Agent and Notion AI and while the features are there, the pricing feels pretty steep. I even started a free trial but I got charged because I didn't cancel before the deadline.
