Good, but...

Pros

What I like most about Orange is the usability. It is very useful for my small business or office for common or simple tasks to show accountability.

Cons

Mobility is the least appealing aspect of "Orange", the responsive web elements lack proper framework, and accessing the mobile app requires purchasing an executive add-on, necessitating adjustments to view structured fields on mobile devices.

Finally a good task tracker

Pros

When I set out to find a task tracker, I found plenty of cloud-based services that seemed to do what I wanted, but I really needed to have more control. As a programmer and designer, I wanted something that not only worked but that I could also plug into my local systems. Orangescrum allows me to do that. The add-ons are a single cost, and the self-hosting option seems to be priced right.

Cons

Installing the community edition took longer than expected, especially on Slackware 15. The lack of clear instructions for unsupported systems made the process more challenging than necessary.

Pros

Their user interface clearly structured and self-explanatory for PM experts. Its not overloaded with functions and is therefore well applicable for SMEs.

Cons

Unfortunately, essential modules must be purchased separately to fully utilize the application.

Riddled with bugs, poor UX, unresponsive/uninterested support

Pros

This is a very robust system when it works. It has tons of features and is very flexible. It is well designed visually and has good pricing.

Cons

There is a notable lack of commitment to addressing software issues, despite promises to do so. The user experience suffers from poor design choices, unresolved bugs, and a disregard for user feedback.

Best tool i've found

Pros

I find it very simple and appreciate that it is open source. Being part of a small team, I searched for something easy to use, and this tool is perfect for us. The installation was straightforward and quick. It was crucial for us to find a tool not tied to a cloud system. Good job, OrangeScrum!

Cons

I have not found anything yet! The only thing I am still looking for is: "Where can I change the Exchange Server settings?" But that's not very important to me.

Application features and cost

Pros

I create tasks and projects easily and efficiently assign them to team members.

Excellent Customer Support

Pros

I had trouble with the free Community Edition, and they did not hesitate to provide me with full support to resolve the issue.

Cons

The lack of subtasks in the Community Edition is a minor inconvenience, considering it's a free tier product.

Good scrum management for self hosted companies

Product does not match literature, screenshots, or functionality expected

Pros

I appreciated the interface during the demo period when I was using the hosted cloud solution.

Cons

Some features have not worked as expected, like reporting, forecasting, recurring tasks, and incorrect calculations for actuals. Also, experiencing 404 messages. Resource forecasting is especially problematic. They didn't mention certain limitations when we asked early on, such as multiple holiday calendars and working schedules.

Pros

Tracking and assigning tasks are well organized, and delegation to the team is managed and tracked properly.

Orange Scrum

Pros

I do not find anything positive in this software as other software in the market provides a better feel.

Cons
