Pros
The Team Manager feature has been very helpful in planning my team's resources. It has significantly contributed to their mental well being by preventing overbooking. The timesheets have also proven to be very useful.
Cons
Occasionally, it can be slow especially in the area where you can forecast resource usage across all projects. I also believe it could benefit from more visual indicators for over or under allocation.

Pros
Daptiv is a highly configurable and feature-rich PPM software that offers excellent visibility into project, program and portfolio status. It allows for seamless management of simple or complex projects and programs through a unified user interface, making tracking, analysis, forecasting and planning effortless. The ability to customize data output is only limited by ones imagination.
Cons
One downside of Daptiv is the frequency of support cases that need to be submitted due to unexpected errors or known issues that are yet to be resolved. Generally, you have to find workarounds until the problems are fixed. The software is quite expensive and although most support cases are resolved fairly quickly (within a day or two), recurring or unresolved issues make the price harder to justify.

The web application performs well and at a great speed. It is also simple to use.
Cons
This things I feel are lacking are the ability to do resource management per department across multiple projects. There are also limitations in calculations within the dynamic applications and you cannot view different parts of the same project simultaneously on the screen.

Pros
The system is built on established project management concepts (PMI) such as tasks, profiles, change management, issues, risks and capacity management. It offers wide customization options across the entire system. The standard reports provided allow comprehensive project analysis. The Cognos reporting feature is exceptionally powerful. Users can openly request new functionalities on a shared board, allowing visibility, voting, and collaboration.
Cons
Learning Cognos reporting can be challenging if you are not familiar with SQL. The system doesn't have standard/native recognition of project geography (if you need reports based on that concept). While the portfolio management feature is powerful it could still use improvements in terms of ease of use (expect a significant upgrade in 2020). Additionally, the licensing is based on users rather than seats.

Pros
The ease of configuration and reporting is notable. We started with a relatively low level of maturity in project, program and portfolio management, so we initially customized a low-complexity system to meet user needs and manage change and adoption. Over the years we have been able to develop new functionality, registers and reports in-house, introducing them when users were ready. This approach allowed us to offer advanced features to complex programs while maintaining an intuitive interface and process for smaller projects.
Cons
While efforts are being made to improve agile functionality, there is still a gap between Daptiv task boards and some of the other agile planning tools available. Hopefully this will continue to improve in the future.

Pros
The administrative and user configuration capabilities of Daptiv facilitate support for our processes which also adapts to our execution methodology instead of dictating a change. User impersonation is a priceless troubleshooting and monitoring feature, allowing quick identification of user experiences.
Cons
There are very limited program management capabilities when it comes to updating a program based on changes in child projects. The tasks also need to behave more like MS Project.

Pros
It is cloud-based software with frequent product updates. It offers a portfolio view of projects and programs, an enterprise risk registry and a knowledge base for lessons learned. The Cognos backend provides robust reporting capabilities.
Cons
The onboarding and offboarding processes for staff are not well developed. It would be helpful to have the capability to add start and termination dates to simplify staff administration when they join or leave the organization. Currently, we rely on workarounds that are not ideal. The task boards are only useful within individual projects which limits their usefulness for teams managing multiple projects simultaneously. There is a lack of a scrum board at the portfolio or team level. Additionally, the connectors to JIRA and other external systems are costly.

The tool is highly intuitive and requires minimal training for our engineering and program community. It also requires very little maintenance. We can aggregate and analyze data, creating custom dashboards that provide meaningful and actionable insights from large data sets.

Cons
The only thing I feel it lacks is a bulk delete option for workspaces. Sometimes we create numerous workspaces for testing purposes and individually deleting them takes up a lot of time.

The ease of use and configurability of the software drive standardization and enable integrations with other systems. It supports the maturation of resource management capabilities and its potential is limitless based on your PPM requirements.
Cons
There are currency limitations for the global market and some restrictions in the task planning module make it less user-friendly when assigning percentages instead of hours by resource. The portfolio views are also limited.
