The pre-delivered reports for project status reporting are fantastic and easily customizable. The ability to create custom applications is one of the most outstanding features of this software.

Bulk editing of workspaces is currently unavailable.

Daptiv is customizable and expandable, making it suitable for organizations at any level of PPM maturity. It also provide a chance to organizations to move along the maturity journey pretty easily by extending the tool as needed.

Not enough people are aware of the software and its benefits. So they may think it lacks in some areas but for us it is working exceptionally well.

Ease of use is my top priority and this product fulfills it, and when my project managers are happy, I am happy too.

The reporting aspect of the software is what I like the most. With the switch to Cognos 11, reporting has become even easier.

I like the flexibility and customization of task boards. However it lacks conditional formatting and filtering features that are essential for our agile framework.

The most impressive feature is the Resource Allocation tool. It helps us manage our resources and provides insights into our organizations project capacity, which is key for the exploration of future development.

The inability to rearrange views/fields in workspaces is difficult. While we have the ability to customize various areas, I wish there was more flexibility in this aspect. Moreover, integrating more with Power BI would be highly beneficial.

It supports the project intake process, scoring, governance and resource capacity planning. It provides enterprise-wide visibility to the leadership team for all projects and operational work within the organization.

I can't undo changes made within workspaces at the task level or in dynamic applications.

I like the high level of customization available to meet my customers needs. Due to our organizations position on the maturity curve, we initially needed many manual fields to gather the necessary data from our project managers.

In the latest version, they have addressed this but working with reporting capabilities through Cognos 10 was extremely challenging without a Cognos expert in the organization. I am eagerly anticipating Cognos 11.

Pros

We've been using the system for over 10 years. We took our time during setup and thorough testing but once implemented, it has effectively handled running and managing projects. Over the years we have added applications and reports, allowing us to utilize the system for various aspects of the company from marketing to billing.

Cons

The only two things I would like to have! Firstly, the ability to bill continuous events without inputting them each time or day, and secondly the ability to do more with construction job cost accounting.

It is intuitive and easy to use. Also capable of scaling from a single business unit to the entire organization.

Training is necessary and setups need careful consideration before starting, as otherwise using the tool becomes confusing.

The functionality of the Task Schedule is not as simple as we think. There is no capability for fast editing or quickly adding multiple lines to the schedule.

The wide range of functionalities available is quite impressive as it covers intake management, portfolio management, financials, timekeeping and resource management. It is also easy to learn and offers flexibility. Implementation can be done in phases or as a "big bang" approach, depending on organizational needs.

The reporting tool was difficult to learn and creating visually appealing reports was challenging. It required a significant amount of time and expertise. (They are addressing this with the new ChangePoint Analytics.)

The ease of use, combined with its cloud-based nature allows us to access it from anywhere.

The administration area needs an update. They feel outdated. Also there should be better functionality in this section.

The overall interface is intuitive and the configuration assistance from the Daptiv team helped us install it quickly. Now, all our project and portfolio information is centralized with easy access to dashboards and reporting.

It's quite hard to think of what I like least. One area for improvement would be to allow for more what-if scenarios capability when implementing schedule changes.

It is very much easy to use and is customizable. We can customize project fields, dynamic apps and reports to fit our needs. We can track project requests with specific approval policies and create projects based on best practices templates. The flexibility extends to different types of web forms as well.

When creating a project, I feel the layout could benefit from a way to group or have a matrix to provide different options. Managing micro-management tasks (tasks with durations less than one day and constraint type "finish to start") becomes challenging.

Pros

What I like the most about Daptiv PPM is its flexibility. It offers an easy to use interface, resulting in high user adoption. While we can't add code or customization (except for reports) this limitation is actually beneficial, encouraging the use of best practices instead of reinventing the wheel.

Cons

Reports can be powerful but tend to be slow. If there is a large amount of data, they might crash. Integration-wise, Daptiv Connect allows integration with other tools but there is no public API available.
