The accuracy of the results we obtain from Daptiv is what keeps us committed to this product. It is truly amazing how we can forecast the collaboration and creation of our ideas and programs. Additionally, the real-time data flow capability is another powerful feature of Daptiv. Overall, the program doesn't demand constant monitoring from our employees which allows them to spend their efforts and resources more effectively. The main reason we prefer Daptiv PPM is its ability to create projects and infuse them with meaning and individuality. It's worth mentioning that Daptiv's productivity is greatly enhanced by its user-friendly nature and highly customizable interface.

Cons

Personally, I believe one of the main drawbacks of the service is its pricing. Honestly, Daptiv PPM is more suitable for medium or large businesses. While the high quality of the service justifies the price, I think the program could use some adaptation and modernization to fully justify the required investments. As for functionality and productivity, we have no significant issues to report.

I like how it functions but assigning people to projects and tasks can be complicated at times. It would be better to have the option to add people directly to tasks.

The flexibility it offers is quite impressive. You can create what they call "dynamic applications" to align with your organizations unique processes and objectives. Daptiv has provided much-needed visibility into our project portfolio.

The reporting tool (Cognos Report Studio) is powerful but has a steep learning curve. I attended Daptiv's training on it which unlocked most of the features our organization needed for reporting.

It is a reliable tool for project and task management. Custom fields can be easily configured and native fields can be adapted for use without hassle. There are numerous features that facilitate the growth of project management practices. The support services are also exceptional. Furthermore, they are consistently improving and releasing new features, which is commendable.

Reporting: The reporting functionality is not up to par. I still have to export my data to Excel for detailed analysis. Customizing reports within the tool is not straightforward, and as a PMO analytics professional, reporting is essential. Portfolio management: The tool requires significant improvement to serve as an effective Portfolio Management tool. PMO Governance: This area still needs a lot of work. Resource Management: The features are complex and not easily understood for practical usage.

This product serves the basic needs of PPM well. It allows you to add projects, timelines, owners, tasks and more, which greatly assists with overall project planning. Reporting can be automated and customized.

Customizing reports in the reporting tool can be challenging. The support is average and if you require specific training beyond the basics, it comes with additional costs.

The ease of use is remarkable. Compared to other project management products I' have used, Daptiv is more intuitive and user-friendly. Their task management section encompasses many of the features found in MS Project. Additionally, there is a simple process to sync MS Project plans into Daptiv for those who prefer using that tool.

Creating portfolio management reports that meet management's specifications can be a challenging task.

I was impressed with the technical sales approach we received during our decision-making process. The vendor displayed extensive knowledge and the solution was explained in a highly professional manner. My task was to find a product that could effectively manage our engineering workload due to resource consolidation from other countries. It was a challenging endeavor, but when we were presented with this solution, it immediately resonated with my vision.

In terms of the vendor, there were no issues as their service was always excellent. However, I must say that report customization is not very intuitive and required multiple training sessions to effectively create customized reports.

The software offers a lot of configurability which allow us to adapt it to our specific methodology and level of maturity. The reporting tools are exceptional and since reports are important for our executives when it comes to any PPM solution, it has made a significant positive impact.

It can be overwhelming for non project managers. While it can be scaled back to be more approachable, it is better suited for professional, certified PMs. While it is an improvement over Clarity, Daptiv is not as easily approachable for team members as other solutions.

The level of flexibility and configurability offered by this platform is impressive. It allow us to thoroughly evaluate our current PM processes and utilize the data in a more meaningful way.
