Pros

This software is easy to use. I like that it keeps a record of the action after completion without having it in the active view. I also like that I can set up repeating tasks.

Cons

I don't like that it is solely downloadable. My company is locking down security so tightly that it is almost impossible to get it past the firewall to install.

Pros

Priority Matrix has become practically indispensable for me in my project management. As an independent consultant, I find it a powerful and handy tool to keep track of my responsibilities to my clients, to record and track pending obligations, and to manage everything from due dates to vendors to invoicing. There is not a day that I don't use it, and hardly a day that I'm not very glad for it.

Cons

If I could change one thing, it would be to make matrices for projects sub-matrices of other projects. For example, I manage multiple projects simultaneously for individual clients, and the jobs' complexity requires me to set up their own matrices for each project.

Pros

Multi-device syncing, the structure/quadrants, word editing/heading customization, and the intuitive selection of icons based on the wording used. Adding new team members is also very easy.

Cons

The user interface feels dated with icons and other visuals. There is a lack of design customization. I don't use the reports or see value in them, but that could just be me.

Pros

Priority Matrix is extremely comprehensive. It allows me to save documents and add comments and notes. I like the ability to color code. It took me over 3 months of unorganized use before I re-organized how I use it. It's helped me keep track of annoying minute details better than I would have through any other method.

Cons

I wish there was an option for multiple due dates for tasks. For example, some of the items I have are three parts, so it would be nice if there was a place on Project Details with multiple dates and descriptors.

Pros

The software provides awesome collaboration tools for our team, such as replying within Outlook, attaching files, and threaded conversations. Syncing across platforms works great. It instantly keeps my iPhone and Windows 10 app and web account in sync.

Cons

Nothing sticks out to me. Maybe include the Gantt chart with the basic package as it's a great way to view multiple projects.

It gives me the ability to visually organize what I need to do. I use both the desktop version and the mobile version. The syncing between the two is nearly flawless.

It's not created for my use case (i.e., to-do lists)! But it's flexible enough to meet my needs. I organize my to-do lists around projects.

Pros

The software allows me to custom build teams to manage projects (and their underlying tasks) effectively. Inside each project, I can drag documents, emails, and other files into the shared workspace. I love the flexibility the program provides and have implemented it fully into our offices.

Cons

There is a steep learning curve involved, especially if I have team members who are not familiar with task management software. We were thankful for the thorough training that Appfluence did with our staff.

I appreciate the ability to visually focus on one quadrant at a time and tune out the rest. I also love that it is customizable for the end user.

Some of the details available for teams users are a bit much for non-business users (icons/avatars, etc.).

Priority Matrix provides a good overview, one of the best. It's easy to use, GANT integrated, not overloaded, easy to configure, and has a good mobile app.

It is too expensive. The GUI is not properly programmed and is missing functions concerning Gantt chart functionality. Repeating action items remain visible and overload the screen.

The online real-time access to forms, drawings, the ability to centralize installation notes, and sync data to all of our technicians and email reports to clients sets us apart from anyone in our industry so far in our region. Our documentation for warranty and support services has never been better.

Some learning involved, and getting the intuitive feel sometimes takes a bit more effort. However, these issues are typically addressed in the next release.

It is easy for me to swap items between places, taking them off the active list without deleting them altogether, for example, when a job is not finished, but I am unable to action it at this time. I also like the master list, which helps me focus on the matters at hand.

It'd be good if I could group projects, for example, Work, Family, Hobby, or some other criteria like geography, etc.

It is flexible. This really helps me stay on track and focused on what I should be doing. It also helps me with delegating and tracking the work of my direct reports.

My adherence to the quads feels a little limiting. Maybe there's a way to make this just a bifolded screen?

Pros

Priority Matrix is cloud-based software that serves me (not the other way around), making access to projects and tasks convenient via desktop in the office, laptops while traveling, or mobile devices while on the move. Collaboration within our teams makes Priority Matrix the perfect solution for groups of people to achieve more together. PM helps me focus on what needs to get done and decide what isn't important enough to get done. It helps us get our attention on the right stuff.

Cons

Finding the right balance of using just the right amount of the features and functionality to maximize the benefit of Priority Matrix is key for me. It can be a personal challenge to transition all the good ideas that roll into PM and assign them to a manageable number of projects. "I can do it all, and Priority Matrix can help." Okay, this isn't really a con about the software. You figured that out by now.

Pros

The accessibility from all different devices from handheld personal devices to desktop PCs, allows my team to communicate instantly from the field to the main office on project-specific items and many other tasks.

I need to remember to hit 'save' to save notes added to an item. I often forget and immediately lose all those notes.

I really liked the quadrant look and the ease of moving tasks across categories. It linked well to my calendars and reminders. It's useful to see an overview of tasks.

For me, it became overkill and I was spending more time categorizing and organizing tasks than actually doing them. I eventually deleted the app and went for a simple, uncategorized task manager that suited my workflow better.

It is a good way for me to manage tasks and deadlines. It is easy to assign tasks among team members and track their status.

It does not have offline mode, especially when an attachment is saved. Sometimes it has technical issues that cause sync problems.
