“RationalPlan was the easiest project planner I could find
Pros
Learning this software is not a problem and you don't have to worry about the price as the cost is quite reasonable.
Cons
For a while, it had a java-like appearance due to its focus on creating a low-cost, cross-platform product. However, it has been improving over time.

“Franklin Automation
Pros
If you are looking for an affordable software this is the one for you. Moreover it is relatively easy to learn and have commendable customer support.
Cons
I find it frustrating that I cannot input raw data and there is no way to accumulate time in a specific cost code. Some of the options, like "always keep assignment units as set" and "try to keep the work when changing resources," are confusing. I wish there was more clarity on what these mean.
