The ability to access this software from anywhere is fantastic. As someone who works on the road occasionally, receiving notifications on my phone helps me stay on top of things.

Cons

It is inconvenient that you can't search within Matter Documents for specific documents. I wish I could search within a matter's documents directly.

Pros

Tracking time can be a hassle for attorneys, but I love how I can save my work and resume the timer later. The client portal is a hit with my clients, though they often forget their login details. Billing and payments are seamless, and the reporting feature is user-friendly.

Cons

The absence of an integrated email component that connects the calendar with email is a drawback. Also, the new text feature seems prohibitively expensive for solo practitioners. Exploring Rocket Matter's full potential would require hours of tutorials, especially regarding document preparation.

Integration of conflict checking and text messaging within the platform instead of as add-on services would be more convenient.

With numerous matters, it's challenging to sift through and select the correct one. It would be helpful to have the option to delete or organize matters once they're completed.

Despite initial praise for being modern, Rocket Matter feels outdated and lacks updates. The platform seems stagnant, with improvements seemingly limited to releasing APIs. Integrations like Fujitsu ScanSnap and mobile apps are poorly executed. Suggestions for improvement on Receptive aren't being adequately reviewed or implemented.

Retrieving old invoices from previous months and recreating them on demand for clients can sometimes be challenging.

Having used this software for several years, I find it packed with great features and easy for both myself and my staff to use. Inputting data is also unproblematic, and the dashboard is not cluttered like some competitors'. Document creation is seamless.

Cons

The platform needs updating, particularly the Client Portal which has had issues. It would be convenient to text clients directly from the software and send documents for signing within the app.

Moving between different tasks and projects within the software interface is relatively uncomplicated, requiring minimal effort and allowing for smooth transitions between various activities and engagements.

The task list functionality is lacking. Returning to the dashboard resets the task list to the beginning, making it cumbersome to navigate, especially in a busy office where task lists are crucial.

I've been a loyal customer since around 2013 or 2014. What I appreciate most is how user-friendly it is. Entering clients, managing client matters, tracking time and expenses, printing invoices, it's all a smooth process. Plus, the ability to generate various reports is a big plus.

Cons

I wish I could track my referral sources more efficiently. I might have the capability, but it's unclear to me.

The customer support here is top-notch! Compared to other apps I use, Rocket Matter stands out with its responsiveness and dedication. It's become indispensable for generating invoices in my practice, I can't imagine using anything else.

One feature I find lacking is the seamless handling of multiple clients for the same matter, such as spouses.
