Old, outdated and hard to navigate

Pros

At least conceptually Scoro offered a broad set of time-tracking and resource-management capabilities suitable for junior staff and teams along with reporting tools aimed at management.

Cons

The software feels really old and outdated. The interface looks like it's from the late 90s and I found it very confusing to navigate. In my management role, I used this software and even though it offers many reporting features, I struggled to create and customize the specific reports I needed.

True one-stop solution for all needs

Pros

This has become a true one-stop solution covering business development, sales, project management/operations and our financial/invoicing needs so we no longer juggle a bunch of separate, often unconnected apps. The interface is also user friendly, the workflows are easy to follow and it is simple to build reports and dashboards. Because of this I have a real-time view of both current results and projected performance, allowing us to make informed decisions based on accurate, up to date data.

Cons

I'll admit it's on the costly side but I keep thinking that you often get what you pay for. And with this one we receive a wide range of powerful features and dependable performance that justify the investment.

Most comprehensive and user-friendly platform

Pros

Scoro is the most comprehensive tool of its kind on the market. Compared to Synergist, Traffic Live and Paprika it is the most user friendly platform I have used. Plus the insights we gain from tool are incredibly useful and because of them, I can make adjustments and shift priorities based on real data instead of relying on gut instinct.

Cons

Some simple improvements would greatly enhance the user experience. For example I'd love the ability to collapse rows into header groups for very large quotes and a quick toggle to exclude certain costs from the total with a single click so they can be marked as optional, like in Synergist. The Gantt chart feels quite inflexible too it's built mainly for resourcing and does not offer a polished, client-facing view and I also can't export it as a PDF which would be really helpful.

User-friendly, connected, all-in-one system

Pros

I really like how user-friendly and simple the interface is as I can find my way around without confusion. Plus the way the different sections are connected means I can smoothly move from one area to another without backtracking. For example I can jump from creating a quotation to assigning tasks, managing resource allocations, overseeing project workflows, handling invoicing and tracking finances all within the same system without friction. Plus it is easy for me to add or remove team members, maintain our data security and make on the fly customizations as needs change.

Cons

While I like the frequent updates and continual improvements sometimes it feels overwhelming to keep up with all the new features rolling out.

Great service, team acts on feedback

Pros

Well I have had great interactions with Scoro's customer service and they genuinely act on feedback which makes it so useful that everything is consolidated into one program.

Cons

It can sometimes take a while for requested changes to be implemented after I provide feedback yet that's not a problem for me since I trust the team will consider and act on my suggestions.

dependable and offers outstanding support

Pros

Scoro software is user friendly and very dependable and I like how neatly everything is arranged. Customer support has been outstanding as well. Plus updates come frequently and they communicate outages clearly and promptly.

Cons

The various role types in the application were somewhat confusing for me. As the role titles could be written more clearly and include extra details so I can match the correct permissions to the right people.

clear interface but no admin rights

Pros

I rely on its task and time management features as they let me run our studio in a proper manner. Also one thing I really like is that we can generate tasks straight from our quotes which saves me time and keeps things organized.

Cons

Honestly the recent addition called Time Distribution by Roles ends up feeling more like an obstacle than a useful tool and I would much prefer to have my Time entries visible immediately without that extra step.

saves from work overload

Pros

Using Scoro has made it much easier for me to prevent my team from becoming overloaded, be realistic about available resources and set priorities and communicate more effectively.

Cons

The calendar layout could definitely be improved. Also while it is largely a positive still its wide range of features and detailed configurations can be overwhelming for some users including myself who may struggle to get started.

easy to pull reports with new ai

Pros

There are multiple ways to review projects and with the new AI, I find it really easy to pull what I need without having to go through the trial and error of filters.

Cons

I am dealing with customization and review time issues. As we are struggling to review 200 jobs and see the latest actions all from one page. I believe adding a simple column to the project page would solve it but for now we're stuck using a less than-ideal workaround and things are getting missed.

invoicing works well, support helpful

Pros

Scoro's invoicing works well and connects smoothly with our projects. Also everything is stored in one place and linked to the related project including task tracking, workflows and payment records. Moreover their customer support always gives detailed and helpful answers.

Cons

Syncing can be a little hard and I regularly need help whenever we try to monitor particular items within the system which slows our setup.

Impressed by project collaboration feature

Pros

I'm really impressed with the project collaboration feature. It includes an integrated system that genuinely helps streamline workflows. Plus it makes task management simple and has given me much more free time.

Cons

At the moment I do not have any real complaints about the software. But perhaps someday I'll discover something worth mentioning or reporting but right now that seems unlikely.

i like that everything is centralized

Pros

I have been using Scoro for about a year and it has changed how our team works. What stands out most is having everything centralized such as project management, CRM, billing and reports all in one place, eliminating the need to switch between three or four different apps. This has made everyday life noticeably smoother. The dashboard is particularly useful as I can see a snapshot of every project and monitor progress without constantly chasing people for updates. Time tracking has been a lifesaver. We log hours directly into tasks and that data feeds into invoicing making billing far more accurate. It is also easier to see which projects are profitable. Reporting is powerfull too as there are many report types and you can customize what appears making it genuinely useful for decision-making and keeping clients informed. I also appreciate how customizable it is. We have built custom workflows and dashboards so Scoro adapts to our processes instead of forcing us to change how we work. Setup takes some effort but once running smoothly, it just works. Overall it has helped our team become more organized and present a more professional face to clients.

Cons

It does a lot well but it has downsides. The platform is packed with features which is powerful but can be overwhelming when you start. As it took us a long time to learn and we still only use about half of what's available. If you do not have time to dig in, the value for the cost becomes questionable. Speaking of cost, it is not cheap especially for advanced features or extra integrations with other tools. Some capabilities are locked behind higher-tier plans so we upgraded to access things we thought would be standard. Customization is great but you sometimes need a specialist to set things up which isn't ideal for teams without technical people. And the mobile app is okay for quick checks but does not allow full project work comfortably from a phone and there's no meaningful offline mode. So if you lose connection, you're stuck. In short it is a powerful solution but not the easiest or most affordable so you have to decide if it's the right fit for your team.

easy to manage projects and workflow

Pros

Scoro makes it easy to manage projects, track time and organize my workflow in one place.

Cons

At first what I liked least about it was how overwhelming it all felt. So much functionality is crammed into the platform and it took me quite a while to work out where everything lived and how to use each feature effectively.

Brings it all together in one platform

Pros

It brings together project management, time tracking, quoting, invoicing, resource planning and CRM into a single platform so I don't have to switch between multiple apps

Cons

For smaller teams, pricing is pretty high and it can be off putting when advanced features are locked behind higher tier plans.

Pros

I rely on Scoro's powerful task templates, real-time project tracking, customizable dashboards, built-in time tracking and smooth integrations. Also it is user friendly, helps me standardize workflows, boosts team collaboration and enhances our overall efficiency.

Cons

Powerful, clean calendar hub

Pros

What really makes Scoro stand out to me is its powerful, clean calendar. Also it is more than just a meeting log as it's a central hub where I can instantly check my teammates schedules, see which rooms are free and track all project timelines in one consolidated view. Because this scheduling and resource information is combined in a single, user friendly interface, my daily planning has become much more efficient. Moreover it greatly reduces back and forth communication and everyone on the team always knows who is doing what and when. As a result, I have seen a real improvement in our coordination and resource management.

Cons

Even though it has a lot going for it, I have noticed the task creation process could be improved. Using the dedicated task feature often feels more complicated than simply adding tasks directly to the calendar. The extra steps and fields slow me down especially during busy times when I need to create or adjust multiple tasks quickly. Though it is not a dealbreaker but if they refined and streamlined that functionality, it would make the overall user experience smoother and help us keep up when the workload increases.

Outstanding simplicity and design

Pros

The system's simplicity, its design and the overall logic behind it is outstanding. Plus it pulls together every tool an agency requires into a single, comprehensive solution.

Cons

I do notice the Outlook integration is not completely flawless. Even so the benefits we gain from the calendar synchronization far outweigh this minor hiccup by a wide margin.
