I use Stackby as a CRM for my business, and I really like how easy it is to set up and use especially with its integrations.

I am quite satisfied with it, and there are no aspects that I dislike.

The templates are fantastic and the prebuilt formulas make it easy to make sense of the data in day to day operations. I also like the use of tags and categories to organize sheet inputs.

The Power up add-on is hard but a very important sell. Additionally, having more styling options would be great. Personally, I prefer if they offered everything in one package with pricing structured accordingly. However, it didn't stop me from purchasing, so it can't be that bad, right?

The API, marketing niche and templates are all very helpful. The video tutorials are great too.

The discount code doesn't work, and it's still not the largest player in the market. It still requires Zapier to sync with other platforms.

Starting a new database and importing data with automation apps is not a problem anymore.

Sometimes the system can become slow, and I have encountered instances where my data disappears.

It's quite easy to use and collaborate, whether you need a more powerful spreadsheet or forms to fill the database with information.

The customization options for forms are limited. I faced some onboarding issues, but the support team was very helpful.

The out-of-the-box functionality is impressive. I love being able to embed specific views, lock views, filter, sort and share individual views with others. Also the ability to link records is also valuable. Additionally, the API integration is a feature I really like, even though I haven't used it yet.

Cons

As a new software, I understand that it won't have 100% of the functions yet. I would really like to see the option to import and match records, as currently you can only append. This is a significant requirement for keeping data up-to-date and avoiding duplication. It would also be fantastic to have a deduplication function, which I know is being worked on.

Pros

The ease of use is a major advantage. I can use a spreadsheet as a database and perform formula calculations on my data before utilizing it.

It is quite disappointing that certain features that should be included in the main product are offered as paid upgrades, like the ability to export to Excel.

Stackby is great for organizing your data. However, if you combine too many different data sources, it can become overwhelming and confusing. If you struggle with managing it, seeking assistance from a professional may be necessary.

It would be beneficial to have more templates available in Stackby. The community could contribute to expanding the template library.

The database of template databases is what I love most about Stackby. While I still have a lot to learn to fully use it to its potential, it has already solved many of my data organization problems. Stackby saves a lot of time. While Google Sheets are great, they fall short when it comes to integrating data from third parties. With Stackby, I can have prospects in a spreadsheet and update their data using third-party APIs without needing any programming skills. It is simply like a magic. Also the ability to create ad hoc solutions for my company is why I chose Stackby.

If you are familiar with Airtable, you will find Stackby's UI very similar. For straightforward relational databases, it is quick and easy to use. The ability to back up data to a Google account is a valuable feature that lacks in Airtable. Stackby also offers excellent value for money, especially if you can get a lifetime deal.

It can be finicky when it comes to data typing, such as date formats but I managed to work around it. Additionally, when moving away from popular platforms like Zapier and Mailchimp to more niche competitors, the compatibility can be a bit inconsistent. However, considering its intended purpose, it is really great.

I really like the ability to create any type of database I want with functionality that goes beyond spreadsheets.

My main dislike is the limited number of native integrations although I anticipate that they will add more in the future.

It is similar to other softwares available in the market, so there is no learning curve. However the things that give this product an edge is that it works as promised right out of the box and delivers exactly what it promises.

Well there is nothing major that I find troublesome but the UI could be a bit more refined.

The app appears to be quite promising and it closely resembles to Airtable. I also like that it is more affordable than Airtable. I am currently using it to track applicants. If it doesn't delete my files, I will truly love this product.

Initially, when the number of records was small, I didn't experience any issues. However, now I encounter them frequently. It seems like the product is not yet mature, which results in many bugs and downtimes. I hope they will improve the product in the future. For now, I still use it but make sure to back up my data regularly.

The speed at which they continue to develop the platform after its launch is impressive. Moreover, the responsiveness of the development team to customer feedback is truly remarkable.

Like other databases with a "spreadsheet-like" interface, the UI can be a bit unfamiliar for our clients, especially if they're not accustomed to modern technology.
